Yes, it supports 2.00. My port doesn't replaces gta.dat, so no worries but you can only install one map at a time, due to limitations. There's a link on the description that will let you know to install map mods on 2.00 :)

You should use import all the textures into gta3.txt to avoid missing textures. I just turn my graphics low :D

Overwrite, uncheck Enable Camnorm and since it was heavy. I recommend you to reduce the texture size to 512 for optimal usage of RAM :)
