Great description and analysis. However, I suggest more "B roll" because the few seconds of the one photo still shot doesn't give me a full sense of how it really looks and moves. Thanks for the video.
Thank you Dan for this video. I have been very interested in this tetra such a cool and unique fish with all the ease of keeping. I am a big fan of tetras! I would have loved some b-reel of them moving around.
These fish profile videos are great. Thank you so much for the in depth explanation. Your ranking system is perfect for helping to make the best choice of fish to purchase.
I have been eyeing these on your site since you got them in. I am just waiting to get my next aquarium set up and I will def be getting a group of these.
I really love the information that you're sharing. The name trivia to the group sizes, all of it was top shelf. However, you barely showed the fish! It was just you! I think that your videos could be improved greatly with B roll and/or images. Show don't tell and all. Keep the videos coming, either way! Audio is perfect; information is exactly what I want to know!
Oh WOW what a gorgeous fish. I would've given them a perfect score. If it only takes 6 weeks or so to color up, that's not that bad. There's plenty of other fish that take longer to color up. But of course I'm thinking that this fish would be worth the wait and I'm sure that's true about the other fish that's the favorite of other people as well. LOL.
Don't see how being slow to colour up is a downside. All good things come to those who wait. Sounds like a perfect fish! lol They don't seem to be readily available in the UK though :(
That was a great commentary. I think it would have been better if you played video of the fish while you were talking. At least clips of the fish. Just trying to help! 😅

I got 6 of these fish from you and they've been breeding in their aquarium with no intervention from me! I think I have 9-10 of them now 😊
Show us footage of fish Dan
Can we see some of these swimming in one of your tanks?
My 75g is almost cycled. I will be contacting you for a all tetra tank

Very nice fish
I have 12 of these and they are stunning 👍
Hyphesobrycon procyon comes from Rio Juma, so from Aripuana tributary. I thought this fish lives in Aripuana. Thank you for explanation.
You got it!
Wow very nice 👌 sounds like a beautiful fish
Awesome video, Dan! Looking forward to receiving my order from you guys tomorrow

I had these years ago
So pretty and gentle....I found some to buy again.
😁
That's a fish I'm sure I've never seen before and certainly never heard of before, here in the uk. A really good video Dan with great information .
Alot of Maidenhead aquatics stores have them 👍
Really, maybe if they are not coloured up I would over look them, but the name certainly doesn't ring any bells with me.@@traceyparker3248

Question. What about soft water. I live in pacific NW with soft water
What other fish could you keep these in a biotope tank? If not strictly keeping a biotope, too small to keep with altum angels?
What level of the water column do these tend to inhabit?

I’m lucky to have 7 of these I love them
Fantastic video! Do they school though?
Thanks. I wish y’all would have shown their tank or what they look like in group. Hey! Who’s complaining? lol! Have a good week
Simply misnamed procion refers for the 8th brightest star. not for the racoon ... The fish has bluish star in its eye.
Nice.
Love the video Dan. It’s like going to class. Keep it up and thanks. Click the like button guys click it
They're a gorgeous fish just so expensive 😭
Hopefully they become more popular in the future!

They are very nice looking fish, I'm still more of an Emperor tetra fan, for now.
👍🏻👍🏻
Woulda been cool to actually see some videos or photos of them.

Was hoping for some video of the fish swimming 😢
Second this time 🥲
braw wee tetra
If you turn the fish 90°, the base of the tail looks very much like a raccoon’s snout
