What hurts is there was a fully fleshed out psion that was supposed to be the boss here but apparently something happened and we got Issac the incendior instead
@The Architects we were never meant to have a psion here (though I agree it would've been better if we did) leaks were just wrong in this regard. That psion is the boss for the cosmodrome defiant battleground
Would have liked a caretaker type deal where we got maybe the boss we got but infused with darkness to make him stronger. Not worms since that’s Rhulks thing and we kinda killed him maybe spamwed nightmares instead of the normal enemy’s we got. Maybe spawns a nightmare of a past enemy and we’d have to kill it to then gain shift to move the planets. Tbh I just want anything other than a reskinned spire boss
Serves as a warning your running out of time we actually used it in day 1 to know how long we got left till we seen the floor panel tho trying to look at that shit day 1 was suicide
The arena looks amazing imagine we got a better looking boss other than spire of stars v2. Il admit his dps animations are cool looking when he pulls out his terminal and sends a fire tornado at us and his final stand has decent one too. Just wish he boss was more unique looking
@@okruma625 I was referring to the design as both share the same look. Both have the emperor calus theme of gold armour and both are just beefed up incinerators. The mechanics are different but the designs are practically the exact same

i think its funny how the osmium king actually feared an event called "syzygy" which could destroy his reign, and ironically in a raid called "root of NIGHTMARES" one of the tracks is called syzygy. a nightmare of the father of Savathun, Oryx and Xivu Arath.
It’s a theory this room was used to send the events to wipe planets like fundament if they didn’t join them. Makes sense tbh if they don’t serve the witness would just wipe there planet from existence and now that Job goes to the cabal
The syzygy that we make are 3 planets. He had nightmares of an event where every planet aligned. So I’d just say this is a coincidence. If it was a hive boss with a terminal then we have more to worry about and you could be correct. Either way, interesting observation
Love this track. Like many others this got ingrained in my brain thanks to the *clicky clicky CLACK, clicky clicky CLACK* parts which are great. I think it's so memorable because it's just different. Like, at this point we all expect a super cool epic orchestral track with leit motiffs, but we don't expect most of those instruments to go away for some parts in favor of percussion that sounds like a ticking time bomb.
Finally, bungie achieved it again for the first time since Sanctified Mind. That audible feeling of urgency like a "this is it boys, let's get it" moment at 4:31. For me it's so much better with the bell sound and the tumbling rock sound effect used for the planets moving into position. Maybe I'll make my own version like I did with the Leviathan dog encounter. 😁
This song is my favorite in the whole raid. It brings the tension from the fight even when you aren’t playing the game! Also, the very first section is my favorite. It sets the atmosphere for the encounter perfectly.
Everything was there, to make a standout encounter, and the boss was just an enemy, a regular bog standard enemy. At least caretaker had the darkness drip and a weird face thing plus the bee hive, this guy is just a slightly weirder flamethrower guy and it pisses me off
@@CrunchBar-tc1hghe attacks it has a so slightly different tho. I was really expecting this room to have a much bigger and unique boss join as the encounter started and the small incin we got was just a mini boss

It’s a theory that it’s used to send extinction events to planets like fundememt if the krill didn’t take Rhulks offer to go in the deep and release the worm gods. This job would now be passed to this boss who died within the first 2 weeks of the job
Explicator means "to unfold". My theory is that the planets the Witness steals go here so he can pick them apart and unfold their secrets. See what happened to Mars, it looks like it was taken apart and stitched back together.
