I have a theory that the teaser is showing the team fighting Alteans in the astral plane. I suspect that the five Alteans in the poster wearing the grey uniforms are Honerva's handpicked pilots to take Voltron away from Allura's paladins. I think Honerva is going to arrange for them to ambush Voltron in the astral plane, and I think we're going to see fights with differing perspectives on what it means to be a paladin similar to what we saw when Shiro fought Zarkon for Black. I'm just wondering if we'll see some more of them remotely controlling the lions with their minds, maybe while the Altean pilots think they've won and try to form Voltron? Just speculating on that point.
Why? That's a disservice to her whole character. That's what makes allurance not work long term. Lance loves his family too much to leave earth and Allura loves altea too much to leave it behind.

Oh, it also could have been to show how their bond had been restored. Keith and Shiro fought in season 6 and now in season 7 Keith and protecting Shiro once more. Idk tho

I can see why Lotor kept the colony secret. Not only from the Gowlra but from his mother. Despite harvesting the Alteans he did protect them for thousands of years.
Ms. Crystals there is something I noticed about the final season teaser trailer that I would like for you look at. It may be nothing but I think that there is some thing to the colors that they choose to highlight the images of the paladins and its not just what lions they piloted.
Sorry To double post but I think it may hint that there is gonna be a white lion mech that ether Shiro or Keith my pilot. If not a mech then they may tap into the power of the white lion somehow. Check the out line on Keith's image and the fact that the second color to highlight Shiro is brighter white. Also there is purple near Pidge. We both know purple usually means bad.

Keith is also the only paladin beside Allura who is sensitive to quintessence, and he is the ONLY HALF GALRA HUMAN in the UNIVERSE. We also see the Black Lion go into Hagar’s robot hand, and in every other shot with the lions, the black one isn’t there. And Lances voice actor said that Lance would talk to Keith in the astriel plane. So, will Keith turn evil, or maybe Galra? IS HE GONNA DIE! Edit: Also, that druid says he's a traitor and the only way he can go back to Hagar is WITH KEITH. And he mentions his hand. That means HAGAR and THE DRUIDS know he's Galra. I don't think the writers would make Keith be galra, have the villains know about it, an do nothing. Something is gonna happen.

So, I'm curious about your opinion as well. While as a big picture, the story worked, do you feel there was proper buildup for Allura's sacrifice? Did she earn back the crown? Was Honerva's redemption believable? Was the pacing okay? After Allura saying "maybe" to the dinner invitation, just because Romelle made her to, did she really have a right giving Lance Altean marks after that 2 week long miserable relationship? She basically made his boyfriend getting a tattoo of her name on his face while she was killing herself. Kinda messed up. DO you think it was a good decision not to do anything with Lotor this season after putting him in the trailer?
Sigh. I really miss the human paladins. I hope we get more of characters like Hunk and Lance in the final season. They were the first ones we met! It’d be cool if we could come full circle.

In all honesty. I have not liked Allura's character arcs or development since the show stared. She never grows as a character. All of her flaws, like her racist mind set, dependency on others, and bad decision making. Are just swapped under the rug. Everything she has, the lions, her castle, magical powers, and her authority are bestowed to her be others. Mostly by men, or a dual ex Machina narrative. She's not even a main character, more like a background character that's just there until the narrative calls for her for some stand alone reason. All in all. She's annoying and kind of not worthy of any kind of epic battel between her and Honerva. Whom I have more respect and liking for. Honerva get's stuff done, makes things happens, isn't dependent on anyone but is a real leader. that makes good for her side, intelligent decisions. If the paladins do beat Honerva. I can see the Alteans that called her their queen. Continuing the fight well after she defeated. And I think that would be a better twist to the final season.
