Thank you for the information about Salou. We had an amazing time, the weather was fantastic and the people were so friendly. Will definitely return again.
Salou was the first place I ever went abroad, and that was in 2012. I stayed in Hotel Calypso for 2 weeks all inclusive Last time I ever went abroad was to Marmaris, Tuekey in 2014
Thank you for the tips ! I was wondering for the BusPlana card, those 10 tickets in the card (10€) if we ride from Salou to Barcelona is also valid ? Or is it only for Salou to Tarragona ?
@@raven15ibya I believe this is a separate cost. I’ve not done it for a long time. Best thing would be head to a information point and they should be able to help you
Thanks for the video 😊. Going to Salou in April for the first time, been to quite a few Spanish resorts and looking forward to this! We are looking for fun, good night life and hopefully have fun in the adventure park. Any tips would be greatly appreciated thank you 😊
Oh I like the back too. But doing no hands being at the front just as it’s about to tip over the edge and you have no one in front of you. It’s something else
Hello from sweden! I visited Salou in 2017. Very hot, but a cool experience Om du kommer från sverige, ta med dig solkräm för f a n å snåla inte med skiten. Underskatta inte spanska solen i mitten av sommarn, som jag gjorde 🫠
Hi Emma , is there a self service laundrette in Salou ? we are going for the first time at the end of the month ...its a 2 week stay and we like to do a bit of laundry after a week or so. thanks in advance.
I hope you have a lovely holiday. There are a few around the area. Sometimes your hotel actually has one so I’d defo check this. If not I’ve used one called which is just to the left of salou park resort.
@@Emmasworld85 thanks for the reply ...we are staying on site at Portaventura and it doesn't look like there's any laundry facilities there ..... btw you missed out the name of the one you recommend in yr message. lol ......"If not I’ve used one called which is just to the left of salou park resort". regards. Thanks for the great video, a group of us are heading there (staying in Cap Salou) in July. I do have a few questions on the buses if you’re able to answer, as their website is awful. How much are they per person, per journey? Are they reliable? Do they run nightlife hours (1-7am) or is it just daytime (8am-11pm)? We’re hoping to avoid taxis if possible. Thanks :)
I`ve been to a lot of resorts in Spain and the islands and Salou is my favourite. If there is a better, more child friendly resort I have yet to see it. Plenty to do in the town itself and the theme park . although it can get very crowded, is a must do. There are some very good places to eat , I recommend the Roadhouse in particular, and fantastic bars ( I too spend most evenings in Danny Boy)
It all depends on budget really. Top end I like the Villa romana, we’ve also had a lovely holiday at the Belvedere. If you want something a little further out Estival Park is also lovely.
The only thing that let's Salou down are the drunken mostly irish and Scottish and English punters. And people on mobility scooters who don't actually need them. Rugby tavern cambrils good for English food. Robin hood's is. better than it looks, nice breakfast, curry paradise In Cambrils. Very good

Salou... My most favourite place on earth.. been 8 times haha, going back in 10 days 😁😁
Aww enjoy
Hi, do the buses run to Portaventura or would it be better to get a taxi from Salou? Cheers
You can get a bus. They run frequently. Also depends what hotel as we usually walk when it’s busy as only 15-20 min to some
Beautiful! ♥
So your main advice for visiting Salou, is to leave Salou for Tarragona or Cambrils, got it
You’re there on holiday it’s the local area. It’s called exploring!

I have booked to stay in hotel olympus palace. Its our first time in Salou 10th may 2024. Any tips would be appreciated
For the bus plana card, what does it cost and where can we driving to?
The last time we got 1 last year it was 10 euro each and that was loaded with 10 trips. You only need 1 per family as you scan it multiple times.
Do you know if you can rent a boat out in Tarragona, Salou, Spain?

Costa del sol is my favourite. Especially fuengirola. Beautiful in view
Am afraid a don't go on holiday to explore.. A work hard all year round.. So for 2 weeks it's relaxing in the resort for me.
Well done
