Stefano Spiezia, M.D. Ph.D. is Italian board certified in general, emergency and endocrine surgery and in general diagnostic and interventional ultrasound. He received fellowship training in endocrine surgery in the University of Naples Italy, and is Adjunct Professor in Interventional Ultrasound techniques of Thyroid Pathologies in the University of Turin, Italy. Dr. Spiezia currently serves as Chief of Ultrasound Guided and Endocrine Surgery in “The sea hospital” in Naples, Italy. His areas of clinical interest are endocrine, oncologic and robotic assisted thyroid surgery, ultrasound guided procedures and minimally invasive techniques for thyroid pathologies.

Can it grow back after RFA?

I have multy nodular goiter in left lobe and Bethesda 3 category...can RFA works on it...can hypo or hyperthyroidism go away after RFA?

RFA can work for hot nodules causing hyperthyroidism. It doesn't change hypothyroidism.
