Just put these in. The easiest way to upgrade a trunk light. The only ting I didn't like was the socket didn't feel tight enough. A thin strip of electrical tape around the bulb socket before installation did the trick. Simple mod.
    Another great vid!

I put some GTR LEDs in my license plate lights. But after seeing yours I immediately ordered the ones you bought. They are much brighter than the GTR LEDs. I have LED lights in all of my rear lights and man what a difference they make.

Goodwin racing has a great bracing kit already, but are working on a thinner set as well which should come out next year some time. Thinner for a little better ground clearance. Just fyi

can I ask you how did you connect the lights? i noticed it has different bindings than the original connector

The new lights plug-in to the grey l-shape connector, where the old light plugs in. Not clear on the video. Unscrew the grey connector from the old light housing.

When you are driving at night and you are tired the last thing you want is to follow someone who has bright aftermarket LEDs on their white reflective license plate. You expect to see two red points from the back of a car. Original license plate bulbs are low powered for a good reason ;)

    IMO, not a great mod.
You brighten up your license plate.... okay, but doesn't help me drive, and due to the fact that it's now "light polluting" the back end of the car, it may make it MARGINALLY harder to see your taillights at distance or in fog, etc.
All of that being said, I recently did a LED upgrade on most of my lights.... and ended up taking my LED brake/taillights out and going back to incandecent bulbs.... the short reason was that the Ratio of LightOn/BrakeOn was 1-2 instead of the 1-30 it should be. I tried several different LED tail/brake light bulbs and you had a difficult time reliably telling whether it was the brake or tail light if you did not see the change.
