in todays episode we put the parts car for the mustang on the frame and pull it! Hope you guys enjoy Instagram www.instagram.... Our Shop: / 100068097289351
AS A fellow restorer I would pull all the Interior and drive line and put them on your straight body. THe shell that is now on the pulling rack can be cut into salable pieces, or sell it whole to another Mustang resoreer for parts that he may need complete his projects. With the rusted areas that you encountered on your basic pull tells me there is much more hidden rust
My uncle had a frame machine identical to that he sold from his shop in Knoxville,Tn. Prior to his passing. I helped him pull many frames and bodies on that machine. Was an awesome time spent with him!!! He lived that kind of work for sure.
I think the body is worth saving I'm a ford Mustangs fan. Someone out there can turn it into a nice motor. You chaps are real perfectionists keep up the good work 👍✅🇬🇧.
For sure this will be a challenge but it is worth saving. I would say that you convert this to a fast back as they sell all the sheet metal you need to fix this body. With your skills and vision you could have a beautiful Fastback!
Truly as you said its "not worth" repairing, but the content would be awesome and maybe you can give it a second chance instead of being scrap metal, I think content wise it is worth repairing. Maybe repair the body, and then do a cheap resurrection of it by searching marketplace for cheap parts and build it all custom with whatever engine/interior etc. you can find.
definitely worth salvaging you can order re-pop floor pans rockers just about anything as long as the frame is still good which it appeared to be straight
Anything is fixable. It depends on how much money someone wants to spend. All of those parts can be bought to repair it. It's all a matter of cost. But you would think a restored body would be worth a good amount if you are able to save it. Someone would be willing to buy it, who has a running car that is rusted out or a wrecked car. Or maybe someone would contact you to finish it into a runner. Of course that would cost more but i am sure you would look for a good salvage parts car to completed it if that was the case.
Sure you can fix this car Mark, you are a professional and the idea that you want it to try say enough about capability to try, so do it ! Nice project !
In my experience older cars don't pull straight very easily. These cars tend to pull the good areas out of alignment when tryng to fix the damaged area, so you'll be constantly chasing your tail to get the car right. Newer cars are designed to be more rigid so damage and repairs can be more concentrated.
Being an early unibody car they DO NOT have crumple zones of any sort the entire body deforms especially in a hit like this but you can fix anything if it’s worth it to you
I'm pretty sure that you can get the car back to the way it's supposed to be. I'd find myself at least half of the floor with the rocker already hooked to it and cut all the bent stuff off and welder up main floor and panels and it will come together pretty quickly buy adding straight pieces and panels cause it's all metal to begin with, it's doable and be good for a nice looking Mustang that will be as new once again
Cut it long ways a bit off center to the left, then cut Larry’s other stang long ways but a bit to the right. Weld them together and boom you have Vtuned’s wide body dream car.
I'd go for the money here. As a lot of it still holds value, consider these options: - Fix it as a rolling shell (bodywork + spare parts + unpaid work time) - Sell it as is (less income) - Part it out (most work needed, work/profit balance might not be good in the end).
Definitely worth fixing. Looks very clean. Might be different in TN. Here you dont find them often that aren't majorly rusted. I wouldn't want to pay someone to do it. But if you can do the labor, more than worth it
When pulling a rocker out such as this, you need to also have another pull length wise at the same time "to break its back" as you will find that if you measure both sides of the frame the damaged side will be shorter.
Fix it , just because you can , show off some skills ! You don’t have to finish it , put it in primer as a solid roller . I’d definitely watch videos of the repair .
I agree with a few others, you should fix it. Even if you just fix it and sale it as shell. I do understand why using it as a parts car though. Keep Orange Crushing It Mark!
Little brother if you have the time and the energy go ahead and fix it just for your own knowledge. We will sit and watch along with you little brother. You're amazing dude!! what you and your brothers do is amazing.
Go for it guy. You can do it . Repair this one. I don't know about now, but about 12 years ago you could buy almost any part for these classic Mustangs. Buy another one for parts.
That gold clamp, undo the nuts and flip over the tab for the side pulling so its lined up to the clamping surface and that will stop it twisting when you're pulling
definitely save the car. Take your time and do little by little, buying parts and work on it. Dont part it out and scrap it, fix it and enjoy your hard work and be proud.
While my fav is the 1st gen the 2nd gen really did have a much improved interior (unless you had the pony upgrade) . those with the over the head consoles were very futuristic back then. but I hated the steering wheels with the huge horn knob. Had a 68 fastback gt with a 390 in it. and 2 65 coupes, one was pony gt. Loved my old stangs. But that was almost 50 yrs ago.
I used to love the channel when you were doing your own thing now you're working for the man I thought by now you would have your own I'll come back in later on or when you start on your own projects
I love watching frame fixing. Sometimes I wish your brother wouldn't time lapse so much. You could easily fix that car for someone to build a drag racing car.
Be interesting to see you build it back. Forget about the fastback thing cause you know what all is involved in that. I say fix the shell and sale it. Seems like a good bailable she’ll with a good title should be worth something.
That’s a tough one, looks like a huge amount of work to fix it. You have mad skills so I’m sure you could do it, really comes down to where you want to spend your time. Would be more worth while if it were a fastback but your call. 👍
We've watched paint dry.I think we can handle watching you straighten what you can to make it easier to strip out all your usable parts.Selling the shell will help recoup some of what he spent.I really want to see the Main 'Stang finished with all of these parts.
Anything can be fixed. It's just a matter of how much time, effort, and money you want to use. Is it worth it? Only you can answer that question. The car can be restored to factory spec but that means new apron, core support, cowling side panels, a pillars, rocker panels, floor pans, pretty much anything that got bent. Trying to straighten out those damaged parts will mean that the car probably won't be the same because the damaged metal cannot be fully restored and it will always be damaged. And that's at the molecular level which you don't have to tools for. You can bend all of that back out and It can look okay so no one may notice, but the next time it gets into a fender bender it may fold like a three dollar lawn chair.
I think it is better to wait and see due to the rust. You may have to replace the entire floor pan and the amount of damage on that passenger side. If it's a side project to do then sure why not.
At this point it's about salvaging as many of the classics as possible. These days it's not as expensive replacing the sheet metal as it was when I bought my 67 in the 90's. They didn't have all the reproduction we do know back then
I challenge someone to buy what’s left after you have finished and straighten the body out and show the results. True it will be a money pit, but what a challenge it would be with an amazing end result despite the cost. Go on I dare one of you to rescue this.

It's worth fixing. ALL parts are reasonably priced. Love to see you finish it!
I don't know where you fellas got your love of body and paint work. Your work is amazing. Love your videos.

you buy a new floor for it and you get a really good one at the same time.👍

You have a lot of ambition.if it was newer, I would fix it.but whole lotta work for small profit.I’d pass .just saying.good video as always 👍👍👍😎😎😎
Repair it bud show us all ya skills will b awesome and I'd 100 percent b down to watch every episode❤

That’s a real understatement Tim! I would DEFINITELY say “deformed” with a capital D ! 😁
Yoo dude told you last time you can fix this maan you got the skills its a heart braking to see this car going like that at least try
I just don’t know if it’s worth it financially
@@Motorheadco its depends the price of the parts
Would love to see you fix the Mustang. Would be great content and I think with your skills, it can be back on the road again !
Always pull at impact area at same angle as impact. 55 years thought me alot that's I believe a chief frame machine. Old school.
You should definitely fix it. It's not a hard fix, but it's a lot of work.
I like the suggestion below to get the part you need then sell the remainder. I am sure the body sections will be useful to others.
Get the Pete stang finished 1st. Wanna see that one on the road. Stay safe and be well. God bless

automatic like button - engaged

That would be a great car to fix and sell as a track car shell
Show us the magic. A great shell to show us what is possible on a frame machine.

What you accomplished is very impressive

I salute your efforts on this classic Stang. Awesome if you can do it.
Fix it , just because you can , show off some skills ! You don’t have to finish it , put it in primer as a solid roller . I’d definitely watch videos of the repair .
I love the challenge of rebuilding it. But the parts are worth more than the rebuilt car. Use it as a donor.
I agree with a few others, you should fix it. Even if you just fix it and sale it as shell. I do understand why using it as a parts car though. Keep Orange Crushing It Mark!
Make it a fastback. Better and more valuable. Kits available. TH-camrs doing it. Check it out.
Little brother if you have the time and the energy go ahead and fix it just for your own knowledge. We will sit and watch along with you little brother. You're amazing dude!! what you and your brothers do is amazing.

I`m old school. I like the Wheels on that smashed Mustang. an Old mans "Bling Bling"
That gold clamp, undo the nuts and flip over the tab for the side pulling so its lined up to the clamping surface and that will stop it twisting when you're pulling
Its always worth it! When I see the thousands spend on rust buckets, that Stang is pretty good! Graveyard Cars would say that's a good starting spot!
definitely save the car. Take your time and do little by little, buying parts and work on it. Dont part it out and scrap it, fix it and enjoy your hard work and be proud.

Hey Mark, great effort. I'm sure you can fix this. Just add it to the list to fill your spare time.
I used to love the channel when you were doing your own thing now you're working for the man I thought by now you would have your own I'll come back in later on or when you start on your own projects
lol then you not a real supporter. I make really good money here, you’re opinion of my life is not important
Wow Marc! My first impressions are that Mustang looks like a broken banana! If anyone can fix it, you can!
Save it Mark, a clean shell would be worth someone to start fresh with their build.
I love watching frame fixing. Sometimes I wish your brother wouldn't time lapse so much. You could easily fix that car for someone to build a drag racing car.

That be cool video they have floor pans . You have a piece of history would be nice put it back to its year time
Definitely rebuild the car, great candidate to convert into a fast back .
That’s a tough one, looks like a huge amount of work to fix it. You have mad skills so I’m sure you could do it, really comes down to where you want to spend your time. Would be more worth while if it were a fastback but your call. 👍
You could always make it a fastback in the process. They've restored worse cars before, like clapped out superbirds
We've watched paint dry.I think we can handle watching you straighten what you can to make it easier to strip out all your usable parts.Selling the shell will help recoup some of what he spent.I really want to see the Main 'Stang finished with all of these parts.
They make everything for mustangs.
Definitely fix if you’re up for it.
Save the Pony 🙌
Saludos desde Puerto Rico 🇵🇷 Buen trabajo el qué haces pendiente al próximo video .Que Dios los bendiga con mucha salud y sabiduría 👍

Save it! It’s a Mustang, everything is available to repair it.
great stuff thanks
Nice car to fix
Definitely, repair the shell.👍👍
Solid work! Another Great Video 👍 Great content, keep up the great work!
Not like they are making them anymore so yes. Please save it. Thanks for your content.👍
Would enjoy seeing you fix the car
I think vtuned can use this shell on his mustang
This stuff fascinates me.Older cars must be a challange
I think it is better to wait and see due to the rust. You may have to replace the entire floor pan and the amount of damage on that passenger side. If it's a side project to do then sure why not.
Every part is readily available at many parts suppliers. Stick to Dynacorn and it will save you a ton of fitment issues.
Take the parts off and scrap it! The body work is to bad to save that she’ll not worth it!😎
Maybe someone will want to buy it 😂
Someone has a project that needs some of this,or they have the parts to finish repairing it.Sell the shell.
Take all the parts and scrape the rest. I am a ford lover but you will never recover what you spend on the repair.
It's about views, bro.
At this point it's about salvaging as many of the classics as possible. These days it's not as expensive replacing the sheet metal as it was when I bought my 67 in the 90's. They didn't have all the reproduction we do know back then
@@ManiacalManiac I'll agree with that!
Maybe not in the United States, but in other parts of the world like Europe these cars go for big money.
Depends on who is doing the repairs
yes see you fix
I challenge someone to buy what’s left after you have finished and straighten the body out and show the results. True it will be a money pit, but what a challenge it would be with an amazing end result despite the cost. Go on I dare one of you to rescue this.
Fix the shell best you can sell to someone who will take the time to make it their own.thanks John from Arizona
Sell the body to 23rd garage Yuri and Nate can make a inexpensive drift car. With crown vic engine and ecm.
id love to see you fix it.
Hey Mark, after all the work and perfect paint on the other Mustang, Why isnt it clean and covered.
Mark I know 💯 you could pull that car out and fix the bodying not ya could call ya brothers benny boy or yuri . Miss all you boys together 😢
A real body shop.
I'd be surprised if you can get the front frame rails back to true
Mark, do you want to take on another project? Waiting to see the BMW finished.
IFS front suspension would be COOL
They sell everything you need for mustangs. Save it ! You can find the part at cjpony or Kentucky mustang.
You can get all those parts from dyna core it’s worth it.
You should buy some new panels from Dynacorn and rebuild the purple Mustang.
I think you should replace some parts and restore it, It sure is a nice Mustang
yes it is worth saving check out bad chad he can put it back together
Yes it needs to be saved
Great donor for a reproduction 67 fastback shell
