Did you have any other problems with the spreader block? It looked a bit flimsy to me (not deep enough) - does it hold the net tightly enough so that fish doesn't pull it out ? Thanks!

Vyacheslav Kuznetsov the net is fantastic mate. The only issue I had was with the spreader block needing refitting as it came loose - I'm not sure if this is a one off or a design fault. Once setup the net is solid! I've found it more than deep enough - I don't use a retaining sling - I just rest them in the net while I'm getting organised. I love it!

I have the black ops net and the same thing has happened to me. The pole has began to split and come away near the spreader. I've used it 4 times, would expect much better quality for the money it costs.

Julian Ramkissoon that's not good, I'd contact Nash and see what they say. I had mine for six months before the spreader came loose and I had to repair it..

Effort Equals Success TV yeah they told me to contact the retailer which I've done. Hopefully they can sort it asap. Can't do any sawn off sessions at the mo 😱

Julian Ramkissoon hope you get it fixed! I use the original net with my sawn offs!

Effort Equals Success TV I tend to ride a pushbike to my canal sessions so sawn off net was perfect. Have to wait and see.

Yes very bad speaker block poorly designed, mine actually split the top of the pole. Cheap steel should have been S/steel . Had to be repaired by a very experienced rod builder I use, he fitted a S/steel collar. Which In his opinion should have been a design feature
Very disappointed as all my other Nash scope tackle has been very good

I have heard similar issues, it's a shame they didn't put more effort into the build qaulity.

it packs down no smaller than other nets of this size that handles are in two parts, what a let down.
I have a dwarf and a set of black ops, so nothing agaisnt Nash products.
Real shame, as i was hoping it would be a good stalking option.
This thing is even more over priced than the rods without any stand out features.

It is over priced, but very lightweight.

That would be a benefit of carbon fiber.
I've since learnt of a dwarf version, that is more what I was looking for.
Tho the sonik version appears superior, as the net poles actually retract.
Tho I'm still not convinced I have found the best solution

Hugh has the Fox Explorer which is a much better option. I'd suggest having a look at one of those when the shops open again 👍

      Thanks for tip.
Having looked into it, it doesnt appear to fold down any smaller than my 42" while being worse (in that regard) than my other smaller nets
Im after a better stalking/river option than what i have now you see.
Something to match with my 6 foot dwarf rod when packed down.
I havent had an issue when using my rods in the 10 and 9 foot range as the size is about the same.
but when i use 4 and 6 foot tele rods, i would like a smaller package net wise.
Some fishing trips i want to travel without bulk.
The Xtractor net i mentioned travel size is 76cm.
But again i dont really need 42" for the style of fishing im looking at...
If some waters didnt force you i wouldnt even bother with one that big to be honest...

@@mastodonseven I use a predator net on smaller venues as it packs down small. I've got a couple of different nets for different species and styles of fishing.

Just bought this. Brand new. Won't extend. Completely stuck. Useless & being returned.
