I think we can all agree that this couple of weeks of Toast's "Alone in Japan" series was quite enjoyable and a nice change of pace. Hopefully he'll do more of them in the future.

as weird as it sounds, i love seeing rich people spend money, cause i know i will never have that kind of money to spend, and i know Toast is grateful for the money he has, but would be so cool to see him do more expensive travels in Japan or Asia or just anywhere in general thats not US lol

As a person who lived in Japan for 5 years but no longer living there, the nostalgia really hits hard watching these videos. It makes me so happy to see Toast enjoying his life, though!

This solo japan series has been my fav toast content ever.
there is nothing like waking up everyday and watching an among us video of toast specially going on with life in the midst of covid19 crisis... but yeah, this japan series is one hell of a content.

Even though you said you were an introvert and like being at home I think this type of content works really well for you Toast and would love to see some more solo trip series down the line!! Take yourself out of your comfort zone and travel to the unknown :) would make for a super interesting and funny watch

I think this type of content where you just explore what you like and not really having to put out your "streamer face or enthusiasm" and just go about how you would as if the camera wasn't there. This was a great mini series, very chill and enjoyable.

I remember riding one when I was in Japan and their dessert ice cream was one of the best I ever had back then. Also props to toast for being able to live there by himself without guides

I remember the first time I ever traveled by myself, I was scared, stressed out, anxious, clueless, and just felt alone and hopeless, but the strangers, airport employees, and airplane workers, were all super nice and helpful. I remember the lady on my last flight gave me extra snacks and a blanket and had an uplifting personality that just made the flight way better. Thanks to them my first solo travel ended up being a positive experience.
Honestly, I have a premonition about the eventual dissolution of OfflineTV and some of my favourite content creators splitting up, but these unique, out of the usual content really let’s me just box the worry and embrace it. Real great, have my the laughs and kinda relaxed me :]

I got bumped to a first class pod on a flight from India back to Los Angeles and it was surreal. I had my own pod with a full bed in it. Definitely my favorite flight ever.

Bro that whole "Alone in Japan" brooding and contemplating life, "Why I stayed behind" ordeal was just for... Two weeks? I figured you'd stay there for like 6 months to a year at least, living on your own in a strange country to experience it. This is just an extended vacation.
