My mom was a seamstress and quilter, and she taught me to use the very corners and edges of a piece of fabric instead of in the middle where you have so much waste. I’m sure all of the people who use fabric know this, but just in case somebody doesn’t, you can save a lot of fabric by putting it as far over to the edge as you can.
I'm at least 4th generation seamstress, and my kids are 5th generation. Whenever I see someone just cutting or laying the piece in the middle, I cringe at the waste.
I can't stand when they waste a whole piece of fabric..To make a small little item ..why not start on the edge if the fabric..then you still have a large piece left to use...🥴
These are all beautiful diy pumpkins using DT fabrics. Sadly my store hasn't had much. I went to a hobby lobby and it was actually my brother who I hadn't seen since last year, that treated me to a $200 spending spree. I got quite a few Fall fabrics. I love that ALL your projects have fabric. The pumpkins are adorable and I started right after watching to do some pumpkins. I love my scrapbook paper but it's a nice change. Thank you for the inspiration and wonderful ideas
Love them all. The pumpkins you covered first are my favorite. I have the same ones and had been trying to decide how to make them over. Thanks for the great ideas. Love the little vase.
All of these projects are my favorite. You have such amazing ideas and they don’t take long to create. My only problem is our Dollar Tree stores in our area don’t have all the cute things you fin at your stores. Can’t wait to see your next video with your great projects.
Just a tip, just like you reactivate the modepodge to attach the fabric, to remove the paper, or price tags, you can heat it up slightly, it melts the adhesive and then you easily remove paper or stickers. I’m sure most know this but I just recently found out so I thought I’d share! Love all your projects!! 😊
Barbara ... I like them all, if I have to pick a favorite I would say the last one {or the "Rolling Pin Sign"}. Thank you so much for sharing, My mind just doesn't seem to go places that yours does!! ☺
They're all beautiful love the way you create the pumpkin sign in the beginning of the video everybody else decoupage and put it back the same way you create it two of the big ones and the little one in the middle of them 😂❤as well the other one came out beautiful as well thank you 🙏 for sharing your beautiful idea 💡🐝 safe 😜 and 🐝 blessed h.a.b.weekend 🤗❤🙏🙏
I really liked the triple pumpkin sign and the last project. Thanks for sharing the Mod Podge trick! I didn’t know it could be reactivated! I’m looking forward to seeing if it works on the napkin
I like all of your projects, but my favorites are the trio pumpkins and the sign with the rolling pin. Using modpodge with a napkin then ironing it on top of parchment paper works great. Gets all the bubbles out.
Love the first one Barbara, am thinking it could be used for any season. I am debating taking a wooden DT truck and covering it in fabric, still trying to sneak in some summer crafting, not quite ready for fall yet!
I am soooo tired of y'all's (all TH-cam DIYers obsession with freaking pumpkins! There's sooo much more to autumn than freaking pumpkins! Give it a rest!!! DT is ruining your creativity!

I thought the same thing. Otherwise I liked the idea.

I taught my daughter that too.
I like the pumpkin with the truck. But all are good, and are so easy.

Sometimes if you heat glue it releases better. You can use a good hair dryer on high and or heat.

At what temperature do I have to have my regular iron ? As I don't own a mini iron.
Also I just love all your DIY'S and can't wait to make them
Thank you💕 I would set it at 350 F and be careful not to leave it in one area just gently slide it over the parchment paper.
How long would you say it takes for that mod podge to dry?
Depends on how thick you apply it. Touch a corner to see if it is dry to the touch❤️
Will this technique work on paper?
It will work with a napkin. I have not tried it with scrapbook paper yet ❤️
💕🥰💕🥰💕🥰💕
💛🧡💛
Thank you💕
Why do you put it in the middle and waste all that fabric
I do it to keep my design straight❤️
