I just bought the FiFine AM8 Microphone on Amazon a few Weeks ago for $5.00 Dollars off to use for my TH-cam Channel and when I did a comparison Video between my Google Pixel 8 Pro Microphone that I used to use and the FiFine AM8 Microphone that I use now it completely blew me away! I've also seen other TH-cam Videos saying that this sounds just as good as some of the more expensive Microphones and I agree on that! You definitely don't have to spend a couple of Hundred Dollars to get a good Microphone nowadays.
I honestly like my setup of a SM57 with a Behringer Audio interface. Can't go wrong with that. A bit more price, but less bulk on your desk in general.
For using a USB connection, we recommend around 60%-70% on the mic dial and around 90% on the computer. And then adjust on that basis to make sure the level meter of your OBS or other software moves around -12dB.

Sorry about the issue, apart from making sure the default input and output device is this SC3 and to turn up the gain of the mic, it could also be the issue of compatibility, poor connection, or defective components. @@dot1co Zoom has the auto-gain features, please disable it in the first place. Then check if the mic is picking you up properly by testing on software like OBS or Audacity that has a level meter to see the audio falls in which dB range.

I usually let it default. I think around 60-80 range? And mic I set so that it has a perfect balance between no background noise and good voice pickup. Just have to plug in headphones and listen.
Not a huge difference in terms of noise cancellation between the USB and XLR. It might still pick up some of them but not as discernable as you would hear from condenser mics.
@@LuckyStrikeTech if that was done with the am8 then you may have convinced me cuz it sounded good. But what's better that one or the tonor? I think it was your video I saw you review.
@@JustMikeTV I prefer the tone and noise cancellation of the Fifine. And it also can be mixed to sound incredibly good! I have tips on my channel for that as well. I did recently upgrade to a 200$ mic tho that I love even more
Well the A8 is a condenser mic and the AM8 is a dynamic mic. So I would think the AM8 would be better if you plan on being extra close to the microphone.
Tbh, it's quite an easy pick since they're actually two different mics. If you got a budget of around $100 and you're not a huge fan of the HyperX brand and you will use the mic only for yourself, then the AM8 is a better pick. But if your prefer the clear sound over the warm and deep one and your room is pretty quiet, then the Quadcast will work better for you.
It depends, but an easy fit would be getting the AM8 for gaming and streaming for its deeper lows to reject more background, while the K688 for recording because of the more balanced tone.

Yes
what boom arm would work with this mix?
If you wait til this weekend I’ll have a boom arm I’m testing out! But it will fit any standard boom arm
How much mic level on windows and gain knob on mic you set?
I usually let it default. I think around 60-80 range? And mic I set so that it has a perfect balance between no background noise and good voice pickup. Just have to plug in headphones and listen.
Maono DM30 OR Fifine A8. Which is would you choose?
I WAS ALSO CONFUSED IN THIS BUT FIFINE Am8 is much better
will it pick up noise from my keyboard or laptop cooling pad if i use it with usb c?
Not a huge difference in terms of noise cancellation between the USB and XLR. It might still pick up some of them but not as discernable as you would hear from condenser mics.
Sound test or is the voice over with the mic
what kind of boom arm were u using in the vid?

What is the name of your moving wallpaper?! It looks so good!

thanks for this
So what microphone were you doing throughout the video? Was it fifine am8 or something else?
Am8
@@LuckyStrikeTech if that was done with the am8 then you may have convinced me cuz it sounded good. But what's better that one or the tonor? I think it was your video I saw you review.
@@JustMikeTV I prefer the tone and noise cancellation of the Fifine. And it also can be mixed to sound incredibly good! I have tips on my channel for that as well. I did recently upgrade to a 200$ mic tho that I love even more
@@LuckyStrikeTech thanks for getting back to me. But the $200 microphone is $300 in Canada. I'd just get the Shure mic. Fine am8 is $90 Canadian.
So amazing ❤
will the mic work if i use it on a laptop (usb-c only)? i’m thinking of using it for discord and gaming
Absolutely yes
@@LuckyStrikeTech thank you very much
No problem, just get a powered USB hub.
does it come with xlr wire?!
Unfortunately no
@@LuckyStrikeTech thanks bossman appreciate it!
“Right perfectly in your mouth” pause 😆
what boom arm are you using in this video?
Brand is joby
can connect it to your phone
Dear friend, A8 and AM8, which better for ASMR video?
Well the A8 is a condenser mic and the AM8 is a dynamic mic. So I would think the AM8 would be better if you plan on being extra close to the microphone.
What was the date this was specifically release? This review so good i bought one
Just around the same time the video was made. But if you look at amazon posting it should also say under product details
should i buy this or the hyperx quadcast s?
I haven’t gotten to use that mic so I can’t really compare the two
Tbh, it's quite an easy pick since they're actually two different mics. If you got a budget of around $100 and you're not a huge fan of the HyperX brand and you will use the mic only for yourself, then the AM8 is a better pick. But if your prefer the clear sound over the warm and deep one and your room is pretty quiet, then the Quadcast will work better for you.
yo, what's your microphone arm?
Definitely an AI generated title.
why dose this even matter 💀💀

Could you do a review on the Ampligame A8 Plus? I don't see anyone with a review on it
I haven’t seen that one yet! I have a review on the A8
What is your boom arm
Joby
@@LuckyStrikeTech Thanks
Is it possible to turn off RGB with usb-c?
Yes. Just hold the rgb button down for a few seconds
fifine am8 or fifine k688?
It depends, but an easy fit would be getting the AM8 for gaming and streaming for its deeper lows to reject more background, while the K688 for recording because of the more balanced tone.
@@FIFINE YOO AFTER 2 MONTHS SOMEONE REPLIED I HAVE BEEN WATING
@@Iamlunify Did u get the am8? how is it?
decent upgrade from the yeti you think?
I honestly never liked the sound of the yeti.
@@LuckyStrikeTech ill take it as a yes! thanks
@@LiONFPS if you search for it now, there is another review, and one of the dude says this is way way better than yeti.
@@EnnTomi1 I actually got the mic, it’s fire

I just got the am8 and I'm having a tough time tuning also using it via usb do you have the specs you use for it on obs, to get the best output right now I'm using nvidia broadcast and I feel like your video sounded better than what I have. Any help would be awesome

What level do you have on the gain knob?
And volume input on the sound panel off windows
@@TLippyIV plug in some headphones so you can hear. Turn it up so you can hear your voice and little to no background noise. Too much background noise means too loud.
Hello! I was wondering if the AM8's mount could be replaced with a different mount? Maybe a universal shock mount?
Well the bottom part yes. But not sure if the entire mounting mechanism can be swapped out
A guy on Etsy 3d prints the shock mount for the FiFine AM8. I just bought one and it will be here Friday.
nice review!
anyone made any music with it? if yes, sounds any good?
No. I typically use condenser microphones for music.
Nice one.
So my question is what kind of a chair is that ?
@@Gordan-z9q ahh that’s the ergo pro by Odin lake
2:39 Why would you want Phantom Power on a Dynamic Mic?
Some mics require it. Some don’t. Just depends on the mic
@@LuckyStrikeTech But condenser mics require it. Dynamics don't. Thats what I meant to say.
