Have you used these devices? What has your experience been? Would you recommend?

Just got the bundle a week ago.
      The Good:
Solid product for the price, good quality,
Feels and looks more premium for that price
Does basically what it's supposed to, quite well actually.
      The Bad:
You get only what you paid for
Very limited customization options, everything is tied to the hardware, no software
For two products that are supposed to work together, they don't include the cable to actually connect them (XLR), you'll have to buy one separately so you're not using it out of the box.
Can't connect anything USB-c without a dongle (I have a USB-C headset), except the PC.
Can't have separate faders (discord, music, etc)
Verdict: Good entry-level product for your first foray into streaming/recording/podcasting etc. But I'd look into something else if you want more features.
      Hope this helps someone. :)

Setting inappropriate audio levels on bad mic distance, calls the audio is clipping, bro that´s not Elgato Wave XLR, that comes with clip guard, you have to set your levels manualy, get a good proximity distance to the microphone and put compressor not to peak your levels. The thing you said in the video is dumb. You can literaly clip any audio device or interface if you set them inproperly. No matter if the cost is 100$ or 1000$, the only difference is in the quality of the sound when it gets distorted and how much.

      @BuckeyePlays  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +7

In this video I show a direct comparison when using the AM8 as well as the MV7. Using the SC3 gives the same result. No matter how much Input Gain I give it on the Fader.
This problem does not exist when having either microphone routed via the Wave XLR. That’s the whole point. I can speak louder and directly into the microphones and it does NOT result in clipping the way it does on the SC3.
I explained this issue to FIFINE themselves and I did what they suggested, and it made no difference. If there is a workaround, I was not aware of it. And with that said, a normal consumer shouldn’t have to find some hidden work around in order for their new PLUG AND PLAY system to work appropriately.

@@BuckeyePlays I see, that´s the missunderstanding on the whole point then, I thought that it was set improperly on the gain, that´s why the clipping accured and didn´t hink about the SC3 having issue on maintaining good signal even with lower gain. My bad, sorry for my missunderstanding good sir!

I appreciate the video! As you mentioned at the end, I'm someone completely new to any sort of audio recording/capture, so an inexpensive, easy-to-use mixer is useful to me to both get a feel for it, and isn't such of a bite if I end up not sticking with it long-term (and having had no other prior equipment haha)

Bro if you put your lips up against ANY mic hooked up to ANY interface and maintain level that you would at safe distance you’re gonna clip. You find a distance and level that works and proceed, when you’re trying to make something clip, you’ll most likely succeed. Good quality vid, but where you try to make a device fail you can do so, no matter what you’ve paid for it, as you have here.

so the clipping is what i’m hearing in my earbuds on music and vids as well? not just the mic or using mic monitoring, when i’m watching vids or listening to music i hear faint pops, is that also clipping?

Quick question, did you have issues pertaining the AM8's included USB type C? Some are having issues regarding it

A few months ago there was feedback on the noises when connecting the AM8 to the PS5 console, but it's solved and you don't find that sort of comment for some time. Anyway, the product from our official sales channel is covered by warranty and our after-sales service. If there's any problem, unfortunately, our support can help fix it!

    beginner here !
I paired my vocaster one with the ks688 as a streamer ... To hell with the nice looking part you're stuck with the audio you got.
The fifine ks688 is a great microphone but paired with the vocaster it's just fantastic for voice.
I'm a video game streamer fyi
I just adjust my game audio in obs or other software to where i want it
And then the focusrite just pushes the microphone audio through xlr to the pc which i can then adjust with software.
I'm a simple person i need better voice and get something for voice
Maybe in the future I'll get the scarlet but for a mixer/digital interface the focusrite went on sale for 42€ ... With an xlr cable that's about 50€ and the same price as the fifine.
This just cemented my belief that i got the correct items
Because while i like to tinker I'm not buying ANYTHING elgato and if i can make the output sound great with a cheap microphone then why spend more ?
Don't buy expensive when you don't need to elgato is overpriced focusrite stepped up and has better hardware 🤷‍♂️

No no no, really not that suitable. It's likely to work but with quite some limitations. The best dual PC audio solution should be the GOXLR interface.

got the bundle on prime day to replace my Original Yeti that doesn't play well with linux with mic monitoring especially combined with my guitar interface using the headphone jack. It all works great, except the line in for my guitar interface. the volume is so low. this maybe my device but doesn't do this through the PC Line in (but don't have monitoring).
Mic is ++. Better than the snowball for directional but not as good as the yeti. the Mixer is +/- the monitoring of multiple devices.
I'm not a professional media creator so it is just fine at the under 100$ for the bundle for just a 'for fun' recording/gaming. someone doing a few projects a week... get something better when your income allows it.

Getting a DI box between the guitar interface and the SC3 should help solve the problem!

@@FIFINE Thanks for responding. I do that :-) no biggie I'll deal with it just have to adjust the levels each time. I didn't expect it to be perfect at this price point.
The baby voice is just wicked fun BTW. Not really useful at all but my daughter and I played around with it for a good hour.

Via Line out with a 3.5 to 3.5 cord - can I connect to a Sony A7m4 camera?

    • @FIFINE
      @FIFINE 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

It's safer to add the attenuator between the SC3 and your camera if you really want to get a shot. Otherwise, we recommend getting a proper camera interface for your purpose.
