I am in Hatfield, I’ve made this drive down to Orlando many times, but I try to leave between 3 and 4 AM. I’ve gotten down to Orlando by 7 o’clock at night… checked in and got a good might sleep It’s a long ass drive though… And the drive back is brutal. The drive down there is nice, I enjoy it. That was a beautiful sunrise. Living the good life, cap. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Thanks for sharing
Philly native here now living in Savannah, Georgia. Hope you enjoyed your trip through the Peach State and I agree with you that the stretch of I-95 in South Carolina is really bad!
I’m stressed watching the video! That’s a long drive. Then to lock your keys in the car, then your mates deflated… almost a 3 stooges episode! It was an adventure!
Ayo Cap, I love Bucces. Every year when I do my family road trip I always stop by. The bathrooms are spotless and the food is pretty good and it’s convenient when you need to get something. I do agree that it could definitely get overwhelming depending on the time of day you go.
Cap. If your going to see the LV Iron Pigs next week, let me know. I’ll be there. Tues, Thursday and Saturday. It would be cool as hell to meet the Captain.
The furthest north as far as beach towns are concerned with Palm Trees is Virginia Beach but Myrtle Beach has tons of Palm Trees,Alligators and Geckos, warm beach water,it has more of that Florida feel to it.The offseason motel rates are super cheap there also.I'm not sure about the motel rates at Daytona this time of year. Both Daytona Beach and Myrtle Beach had a similiar vibe there when I was growing up as a kid.
you should try taking amtrak down one day, you don't have to tire yourself out driving, bathrooms and food on the train, and sleeping in coach isn't too bad.
Would you happen to know how long a train ride would take to go to Florida from PA? I always wanted to catch a train from 30th St. station and go to Florida.
Nice. I make this drive all the time to visit family. I grew up in Orange Park - a suburb just south of Jacksonville. I moved up to Philly in the late '00s. Back then I could to/from Jax/Philly for $50 each way usually, but now it's about $300 each way. VA is *THE WORST* part of the trip. DC is the 9th circle of hell. Beyond that, I love the drive. It's usually cheaper than airfare to drive if you have 2+ people, even with gas prices the way they are now.
Cap.One you started the trip there were 2 people in the back…I must have been not paying attention….Who/and were did they go….Enjoy all your videos…I reside in st.pete beach..Org- from s.jersey…Die heart Philly fan… Was this a trip to go check the fills out ?
Damn, man. I don't think I could do that trip. That was way too long in the car for me. I am from Port Richmond and moved to Florida so I can definitely say, Yes, Jesus, confederate flags and accident lawyers. More up there than south Florida but its here too.
The chopped brisket sandwich at Buc-ee’s is exquisite.
^^^ Very true ^^^
Expeditiously!
Welcome to Buc-ee’s, y’all!
Stay strong out there! Challenges are inevitable and overcoming them is rewarded with beautiful sunrises.
Jacksonville resident here! Thanks for stopping by Captain!
“NEXT STOP, JACKSONVILLE…😑 second stop, JACKSONVILLE!” 😂😂😂
daytona is past jacksonville lol
Great video. Thanks for bringing us along!!
The Buc-ees in Colorado is even bigger than the one you visited. It has only been open for a month and is jam packed every day.
Captain, I have to agree with you about that Delaware rest stop...it is banging!!!
Cap on the road! Glad you stopped by a Bucees I’m dying to go to one
At least you had a Beautiful sunrise! I've never been to a Bucee either. Great video

@@agent.k4026 not gonna argue with that. But if you leave early enough, you can avoid it.
We just drove home to MD from St Petersburg
Cool video. Hope you feel more relaxed and enjoy your little get away .
As a kid in the car with my parents it was annoying.. but as time went on I love to do car trips now.
Great video 🤝

This was a great video
Billboards are few and far between in Virginia. The few there are, are well, off of the highway. WELL off.
I’m stressed watching the video! That’s a long drive. Then to lock your keys in the car, then your mates deflated… almost a 3 stooges episode! It was an adventure!
Mt Vernon was great. Very pleasantly surprised
Be safe and have a great time!
Wow Captain, that was one hell of a drive. Beautiful sunrise was well worth it. 🇬🇧
Hey Philly Captain, great traveling video to Florida, great store Buccees, cheaper stuff down South & a great sunrise..TOODLES..
Awesome video
From right outside DC until you pass Quantico traffic is a mess. That's why I take the train to Richmond.

Beautiful sunset 🤘
Enjoyed your video, Mr. The Philly Capt
I love south of the border, no road trip on 95 is complete without stopping there for me. You gotta hit it at the right time though.

Delaware is where Habbersett brand scrapple is made "Philadelphia's favorite"
Scrapple is the best. I can't get it in Florida.

When me and my family go to Florida we leave at 3 am only because of dc
The traffic stinks on DC!

Hell yeah, strong finish 🌅
Pretty kool dude !!
Got me a Bucee's tshirt from a friend who visited Philly last year.
South Carolina I95 is terrible. But not as bad as DC traffic. Nothing can top that.
I’m in Delaware. Philadelphia born and raised now living midstate DE . I left Maryland because it was too expensive.

Bradenton resident!!!! welcome brother! cpt!
13:18 brother this cracked me up 😂
Captain, I always keep a car key in my wallet. I don’t know if it’s the best way, but it got me out of a jam a couple of times.
Had to pause at 3:22, could've swore that sign said "Virginia is for Losers" 🤣
Good vid, Captain. Chuckled on billboards and the "still doin that?" comments...
Question I got is when does our ezpass stop working heading south?
There are no tolls after Maryland. Florida uses Sunpass, not Ez pass to use certain lanes.
That's a loooong drive brother, great video though 😊
Great video jon
Wish I knew you were coming down you could have brought a Santucci's Pizza with you.
I’m in Jax too!
Have a great time. Are you going to hang out with Woo and Tampa Jay

Daytona eh? Safe travels Captain.
Was this from spring training?
Going to see the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp? Saw them last year in Lehigh Valley.
What happened to your passangers?
Driving through SC is way worse than driving through VA.

Was this the only travel/florida vid?
The Florida videos were posted last month
I almost ate shit walking I thought a bird hit me
Waiting for a "The vlog...is over" now that you're in Florida.
i live saint augustine florida
Captain you could of went to vist Michael and Bridgett loljk.
What happened to your back seat passengers?
Hey Captain, didn't Adam The Woo play lead guitar for a band called 'Wicked Pi__' or was it Cannibal Corpse? I wasn't sure which.
When in NC, hit me up. Not too far from 95 and I'll buy you lunch. No cheesesteaks or soft pretzels here, but we'll find something.
This was filmed on Monday March 18th on his way to spring training. Look at the date under the time on the opening shot.
Go see Adam the Woo again lol
Weathervane
Dude you drive slow lol
