Hola Tony, I thought I would let you know that I checked into the Hotel Sauce today, and I am so happy that you recommended this hotel. It is the type of property we like. Thank you again!
Hi Carol, just back from Lisbon. So glad to hear you liked the hotel, in our video on food in Zaragoza we talk about the danger that lies in the Mi Habitación Favorita 😀 th-cam.com/video/_scvZd5TJbQ/w-d-xo.html
This hotel choices video and the tour of Zaragoza are fabulouso. Muchas gracias Tony y Cecilia! We've booked 2 nights in May at Catalonia El Pilar and we're excited to visit your beautiful home. I wish the rest of my trip would be this easy to put together. I'll be studying your videos for Barcelona, Salamanca, Segovia and Madrid. Keep the videos coming, especially for more of the northwest Basque region (Donostia, Bilbao, and smaller coastal villages), which is where we're headed after La Rioja (yes, I watched those videos and will visit Laguardia and Logrona. Considering Pamploma but it might be too much out of the way and too big. Are you sure you don't want to road trip with us?! ;-D
Hello Kay, I don't know whether you can understand Spanish, our Spanish-language channel has a few videos on the Basque Country, but it will take quite a while before we can produce them for this English Channel. All the very best!
@@kaycooke2929 in case it helps, we upload most our videos (here and in the Spanish channel) with subtitles. Our videos on the Basque Country are here: th-cam.com/play/PLT0ydS7hptYIaqHArkEMTicplOK3tBHFE.html
Hello, just want to say we love your videos and will be visiting Spain in July. We will be dropping by Zaragoza for 2 nights and just want to check if these hotels are located at good locations to get around around the old town area in zaragoza: 1. Hotel Reina Petronila 2. Hotel Palafox 3. NH Collection Gran Hotel De Zaragoza. Thank you in advance cause we are really not sure which hotel to choose, it’s our first time in Spain :)
Hello, there. Reina Petronila is a top hotel but very far from the centre. Of the remaining two, both have a similar location, they are not in the old part of the city but you can get there on foot quickly. All the best.
Hi Tony I love your videos. I had a quick question what is the best way to purchase Real Madrid tickets? I tried their website but it isn’t user friendly. Would it be a risk to buy tickets the day of game at the box office? Thanks in advance Your channel is cool
Hi Martel, the only safe way we know is the Real Madrid website, we wouldn't risk it anywhere else. Depending on the game, you might be able to buy tickets at the box office, but you run the risk of not finding any. Please, leave us any other questions regarding Madrid on an appropriate video (plenty of Madrid videos on the channel), here we deal with accommodation in Zaragoza.
Reasonable choices, although I sorely miss the "Gran Hotel", since it´s probably the most charming hotel in Zaragoza, has a great reputation, and it´s located in a one of the nicest areas of the city, literally a 2 minutes walk from the main artery of the city. It´s also the hotel where the King of Spain used to live in when he studied in Zaragoza, and you can get it for a VERY reasonable price, for a 4 stars hotel. Notable inclusions would be the perfectly located, 5 stars "Palafox" (where Real Madrid players stay, whenever they play in the city) and the much more modern, 5 stars "Reina Petronila", where the Barcelona players stay, whenever the play in the city. Best!
Thank you, we tried to stick to choices within or touching on the limits of the Casco Viejo, but the Gran Hotel and the Palafox are valid choices too (we're more inclined to go for the former). The Reina Petronila and the Hiberus are out of the list due to their location.
Hello Carlos. Planning a trip to Zaragoza in September and wondering what your thoughts are, if any, on the "Innside by Melia Zaragoza. Just found your channel and I find it to be a wealth of great information!
Tony here (there's no Carlos in this channel). The location of the hotel is about ok, on a busy avenue with no particular appeal but 10 minutes on foot from the historic centre.
@@ROADTRIPSpainandPortugal I am so sorry and embarrassed Tony! Don’t know where I got Carlos 🤦🏻♂️ In any case thank you very much for the feedback on the hotel.
Hola Tony & Cecilia, I just booked a stay at the Eurostars Hotel at the train station and I would like to know if walking to the old town from the hotel is do-able in your opinion and, if so, how long would it take? I will be in Zaragoza for 5 nights, so I won't be rushing anywhere. Also, I love to walk, but I realize that walking might not be wise. Thank you for your help and for your fabulous videos.
Hi Carol, as we tried to explain on the video, the Eurostars Hotel is only good if you have an early train. Otherwise, it's not a good location for a 5-night stay, too far to walk, you will always have to take a bus back to the hotel. If you can cancel the booking, try to get a hotel in the centre of Zaragoza.
Hi Tony, Arriving in Zaragoza (Zaragoza Delicias) Sept. 29th by train from Madrid. What method of transportation would you recommend to get to the Hotel Alfonso? Thank you 🙏🏻 Delsia

Arriving in Zaragoza (Zaragoza Delicias) Sept. 29th by train from Madrid. What method of transportation would you recommend to get to the Hotel Alfonso?
Thank you 🙏🏻 Delsia
Hi Delsia, we think a taxi would be the best option, it shouldn’t cost you more than 12 euros.
@@ROADTRIPSpainandPortugal Thank you 🙏🏻
HiTony. Thank you for your video. I plan to come to Zaragoza. Is it better to stay in the old town, or in the city center near tram? Thank you.
Angela, if possible, for short stays, stay in the areas we advise on the video. The old town is part of the city centre.
Thank you so much!
