I'm really impressed with the quality and performance of EGO lawn tools. They outshine my old gas-powered equipment in every way. Not only do they deliver great results, but I also appreciate not having to store multiple gasoline cans in the garage. Plus, after a day of yard work, it’s nice not to be covered in grease and smell like gasoline. These tools are a game-changer for keeping my lawn looking pristine without the mess! And maintenance is simple compared to gasoline powered equipment. Oh, and I haven't thrown my back or shoulder out once starting the machines.
I gave my Stihl tools, which included a chainsaw, weedeater, hedge clipper and more to one of my sons. I bought the Ego weedeater, blower, and hedge clipper and will soon buy the chainsaw, Lord willing. They are Fantastic tools. I like them and my wife loves them.
,🏡. Finally ! Accessories I need . Where are they available for the most economical prices ? I appreciate my 21 " mower and need the useful accessories that will use this powerhouse battery 🩷 . I am older . My strength is weaker so accessories will decrease the workload . Thank you for the update !
I have gas powered lawn tools and I love them but I bought an EGO chainsaw a couple years ago and I didn't think it was going to work as well as it did, it's on par with my gas chainsaw and makes a fraction of the noise..The chainsaw chain that came with the EGO was not that good in my opinion, it worked well for a few cuts but dulled easy, I put a good chain on it and I was so impressed with it that I just bought a string trimmer and I only used it to do around my house once but I was impressed with that too.. The trimmer is not as powerful as the gas trimmer that I own as the gas trimmer can take out 6 foot swamp grass with ease, I tried the Ego on the swamp grass, it still works well but doesn't remove the grass as easy but it still goes through it with ease... I never thought I would go battery in my life but these things are pretty damn good. For small equipment I think these things are good but I dont think I will switch to battery when it comes to lawn tractors just yet... I hope these batteries last awhile, it's the only thing I am concerned about in the long run as these batteries are expensive and we do not know when or if these companies will ever change battery designs forcing you to upgrade your units when the batteries fail. I’ve had EGO since 2018 (lawnmower, weed eater, edger, blower). Maybe I’m lucky, but I’ve had ZERO problems… in 5 yrs the only thing I’ve done is replace weed eater string… seriously?! How can you say that’s not better than gas or other companies? I have a smaller yard in a neighborhood but it’s edged, blowed and mowed (with stripes) by EGO 👍 I could use some new batteries as they don’t keep their charge as long but hell they’re 5 yrs old!
I like my ego mower and the weed eater is insane, but the batteries are really poor quality. Their lifespan is really limited compared to other tools. In a years time, my mower and it's dedicated 7.5ah battery lost 50% of its charge holding ability. Prior to Ego I was using 60v Dewalt blower, Ester, and mower. And the batteries were much stronger, didn't heat up as bad, and lasted for a year (which was longer than the eater and mower.) I'll probably just buy clone ego 56v batteries from now on. No point in paying full price for junk. I might open up one of the ego batteries to see if I can buy good cells for it.
They also make the current generation (older stuff was made by Greenworks) 40v Kobalt OPE, not just their 24v line. A lot of the small parts are shared with the Skil 40v equivalents.
Loved for one year now lawn mower in for warranty repair (overheating error message) . Backlog on repairs been 3 weeks. Have full line lawn tool and skill saw. Wish me luck.
My string trimmer couldn't get through the factory loaded string before the head would not release it when bumped. When I finally got the head off, there was more than 11 feet of unused string. My first battery, now a back-up, does overheat and will not charge until it cools down.
The one singluar thing preventing me from going ego is my attachment capable head system, as theirs is the only proprietary one on the market. I'd have to sell and replace all of them, or keep my ryobi head and some 40v batteries then use ego for everything else. I have almost 1,000 dollars in attachments id have to take a huge financial hit on to swap. Poor poor decison by ego if you ask me. Its bad enough all the battery platforms are proprietary
I like ego a lot and have a good few of their tools but my lawnmower the lm 2135 died on me after one year which was disappointing, the dealer did replace it no problem but they couldn't tell me what had went wrong with the mower but from what I could gather a part had failed and it was easier to replace the mower,I have had two batteries fail on me too, both 2.5ah and my 3rd battery now won't fully charge it only goes to 3 fuel cells instead of the 5 after charging,as I said I really do like ego and they are at the forefront of battery technology and do make some great products
I have had nothing but bad experience with ego. Their tools don’t last, their batteries don’t last, and their customer service is absolute garbage. I have thousands of dollars invested in their products and when things break, the only response I get is buy a new one. I had a select cut xp that was less than a year old fall apart. Absolute waste of money.
I used to like my Ego mower, but Ego lawnmowers break down very quickly, and their warrsnty is a scam since they charge you for the repairs. Expect hundreds in repairs after a year or two.
Have a EGO lawn mower and a trimmer. Original battery dead in 3 years. Ordered new ones and died in less than 2 years. Warranty process super long and annoying. Long hold times. $1200 down the drain. Stay away if I were you.

I love my EGOS power tools. Great power and cutting.

I’ve had my EGO weed eater for 6 years, my lawnmower and leaf blower for 4 years. They all still work well.

EGO is the GOAT of lithium powered mowers! Love my 2135SP!! 👍🏻✌🏻

I Have several Ego products and they have been great love then
Thanks for watching!

Ryobi also has their own 40v pole saw and pole hedge trimmers that use their proprietary parts
Ego equipment is outstanding, I NEVER regretted my purchases in the past three years!
Good to hear, Keith! Thanks for watching!
I wish they would come out with a reciprocating head attachment for their power head attachment trimmer.
That's a great suggestion! Keep 'em coming because the EGO team does check in on our comments every once in a while, especially on videos like these.
@@Protoolreviews ok, you here that EGO, if you make it, I will switch!!

Def can recommend the weed eater and blower, very powerful. As powerful or better than gas
Wishing for a time where I can buy a tool not made in China...
That would be nice.
They have great tools, but I've had multiple battery issue
I love ego they make the best yard tools ever made

Why no stacked lithium cells in ego tools?
Most likely heat dissapation. Ego tools spend their lives in direct sunlight so they have to design the batts to stay cool.
Easiest like I ever did
