It's amazing to see Capital Factory leading the charge in the startup ecosystem across Texas. There is so much focus in Silicon Valley and New York that other locations across the country that have a strong entrepreneurial culture get overlooked. Thank you for sharing.
Yes Capital Factory has blown up over the past few years and essentially has a lock on Texas Startups. They are the center of what is becoming a strong startup ecosystem here in Texas.
Capital Factory is an incredible ecosystem for entrepreneurs in Dallas! I'm just starting to appreciate everything that it has to offer. Looking forward to meeting you there.
Come on down! I grew up in NY and spent a number of years in California but for the foreseeable future couldn’t imagine being based anywhere else but Texas. The business climate here is incredible. A bit warm in the Summer, but we have great airports for that!
Great Show i am from Israel , i was very surprised to see that in Texas so many start up companies !!! we have also so many companies in Israel and would love to do this over here loved the concept.... start to film the meetings its great your geniuses :-) btw how you 3 meet ?
Still digesting the report and haven't yet exited our position, which is really small since its a thinly traded foreign security. The reported a strong sales beat and saw a 5% initial pop on earnings but stock action in the weeks leading up to and after earnings have been lackluster.www.reuters.com/article/campari-results/update-2-aperol-expansion-helps-to-pep-up-campari-sales-idUSL8N24V2YH
Unfortunate no unless they change their policy, At this time they only sell the product to institutions as the underlying data it utilizes is exceptionally expensive to license. We will let you know if that policy changes
Greetings, Not sure how to contact you via email, aside from your social media feeds. I am curious about your thoughts on another Canadian company , Lightspeed POS, which only went public in November of last year on the TSX LSPD.TO. Some serious investors behind this company, and they show a solid growth. I think one feature of a successful start up is filling a need and being readily Scalable. I'm curious on your thoughts. Could this be the next SHOPIFY, (another Canadian success story). cheers from Toronto

There are a few WeWorks and they are great for office space, but this is about community - meeting those critical first investors, customers and employees that an early stage tech startup needs to grow.
What Josh said. We actually have a number of WeWorks as well as other co-working facilities around the city but Capital Factory serves a higher purpose in terms of the local startup ecosystem. The co working space at Capital Factory is great but a small part of the organization and its services.
"Команда тупых денег" (Dumb money team), can you explain how do you leverage your cash investments. Say, I have $1mm, then I can invest in 10 companies with a possible return x50-x100 from a good deal. But for this, I have to wait for yeaaaaars. So how can you (or do you) leverage your cash?

Hey guys. Can we please have an update on the Aperol spritz trade since it’s now post earnings?

I love the Capital Factory! And I can confirm, Jacob really does eat 20 apples a week.
The food situation at Capital Factory really is unbeatable!
Good
Can the average small-time investor subscribe to Ticker Tags?

Shocked to see that there is no Wework in the area :) Kudos for filling that void in the market.

When trading stocks we will often leverage our investment with options. It’s something we will go into detail on in a future episode
@@DumbMoney this is very interesting, will be waiting. Thank u
Oh huh tickertags is the answer to my question in the last video. You have built social media trend monitoring software for investing.
Yup. It was nearly the death of us building out that platform. Really proud of it and it’s capabilities.
