@Charmiskit The problem Lithium faces is very simple, He expected Konami to unlimit BA card on the recent Jan or April lists and then for BA to top some tournaments so he chose to use MR5 BA. However neither of those things happened and the only BA list that topped anything was this deck. If he wasn't using tournament topping lists PK BA,Big Ba,etc would all be better lists because BA is not hit at all in the OCG. However because the deck has seen essentially no play in MR5(TCG or OCG) getting a good MR5 list is impossible.
It isn't weaker it is the list from dinh kai bui (but I think he isn't playing Alich) who got first in his last torunament with this deck against adamamcipator eldlich and all other meta decks
I think I remember hearing that this deck was designed specifically to counter Eldlich and Invoked Eldlich, which makes a lot of sense. Karma cut can banish multiple golden lords very easily, evenly matched can even be used offensively by trap tricking it out after the slower pure Eldlich destroys your board and pokes in for damage. It makes a lot more sense to me as a meta call that Dinka and Thomas Rose used for a couple events.
Block BA can make more explosive boards but has little to no follow up if disrupted, and let's be real, Block Dragon might not survive for the upcoming formats
Block BA was good with hydralander BLS and a bunch of Kaijus going second but the going first variants were overrated as hell and had a total of 1 top. Honestly, they should've used 2015/2016 BA when it was full power/fully meta relevant. Thats the point of cross cup.
