Nice work, and great jazz tone. I have been playing for 25 years and in my pursuit of guitar and music theory I started picking up jazz, and it's a real challenge. Anyway, you play that thing with such finesse. Great articulation and expression.

i love the telecaster tone for jazz, even with the single coil.....if you set your amp the right way you'll get an unmatchable tone for jazz in a tele...more than 25 years playin' guitar and all i can say, after havin' played hundreds of guitars, is that there ain't no guitar like telecaster.....doesn't matter the sort of music, style or tone you want to play...whatever you ask of a tele will be provided the best way

I absolutely aspire to one day being able to play so well and beautifully. is it your own arrangement. have you written it down. You tube is gr8. 2years on and for my first time it was just as you indented. Well done bravo. encore etc. H

Finally I have decided which guitar to purchase after months of searching, watching reviews, changing my mind 1000 times (maybe more), frustration, and wanting to give up on the search for a new guitar.I've been looking for the clean tone you display in your videos. I believe this guitar will help me achieve that tone I've been searching for. I think the secret lies in the wide range humbuckers and the f-hole. Hopefully its not just your amazing playing that make this sound so good. Any tips on your tone as far as equipment goes would be a great help. Thanks for posting these videos.
He is using FOUR pedals - so who knows what the guitar really sounds like.
He's got a great jazz tone to my mind. A Tele will give you any sound you want. If you want a pure archtop like jazz sound like Jim Hall - roll off the tone knob ca. 3/4. If you like a clean, soft tone with more highs - roll of the tone knob just 1/2. If you like a blues or even rock sound leave the tone knob open. I just bought a Tele and I'm wondering why I need 35 years to decide for a telecaster.
