  • In this video, we’re focusing on gentle and calm exercises to help kids improve their shoulder mobility and back strength. Posture is so incredibly important for our overall health and bad posture can lead to all sorts of functional movement issues. When our shoulders and back are strong, we can sit and stand tall, which helps with everything from breathing to staying focused.
    Any weakness around the back, shoulders and core can make it difficult for children to sit comfortably and in time lead to forward head posture, which is often associated with the use of devices like tablets, laptops and phones. These exercises are designed to support healthy posture and make sure those little bodies are set up for success as they grow.
    These exercises are great to do as a break for your spine (and mind!) after long periods of sitting. Perfect for kids after being seated at a desk, in a car or anywhere they are looking down at a device or book for long periods.
