It can be fun to talk about some of the bad/disappointing books!! A Forest of Vanity and Valour intrigued me! Bummer to hear that it didn't really work for you. :/ I actually haven't heard of too many of these books, so...lucky me?? lol Hopefully 2025 doesn't have any disappointments!! :)
Here's hoping but one of my main goals is to get my subscription books read so I know that there are some ones waiting to disappoint me hiding on my shelf. But fingers crossed there are no DNF's

Here hoping for no disappointing books for 2025!
My most disappointing book was Dead Dead Girls.

Oh no 😢, I enjoyed the Levanthria books, shame they aren’t as dark as was promised though
It is a shame, I find myself leaning more towards wanting the darker reads so unfortunately it just didn't do it for me
@ I did find it odd that he claimed it was dark fantasy folklore retelling and I thought “nope, not dark”
I'm hoping The Forbidden Wing picks better books in 2025, I have hope!
I'm looking forward to seeing unboxings for it this year
House of Leaves. Hated it.
That one is on my shelf but I haven't gotten around to it yet. The feeling I'm getting is it is very much a marmite book
Yeah I made it 40 pages. You may however love it. I look forward to the review 😊
