    For anybody who might like to know about the alcohol. Brandy is traditionally used, because it's warm flavour harmonises with most other flavors. Tequila, vodka, gin, pure grain alcohol, rum, whiskey, wine, and port are also good options. Just keep in mind that the better the quality of the alcohol, the better the end result.

    Hey how's can I preserve this without adding honey? I feel that it's not needed and i still want to preserve it, what else would work that doesn't sweeten it?

    Dear ma'am: As someone who might want to use this after lunch at work, ergo, no brandy, might one be able to use organic apple cider vinegar as an extractor and get the same cordial effects (perhaps even better?)? I am glad to have found your channel, and am looking forward to learning, thanks and I hope you have a blessed day.

    is it 2 tablespoons of coriander or 2 teaspoons. First you say tablespoons in the beginning then you say teaspoons?

      I think she just misspoke. It looked like she used the tablespoon for the fennel and coriander and then switched to a teaspoon for the celery.

    So did you cut open the cotton muslin little bag? Or are there actual squares of muslin? All I find are little tea bag type which doesn't seem big enough when straining?!

    Do you use organic alcohol? If so, where do you buy that?

      Hi Lauren, I've seen organic alcohol on the market, although admittedly it is hard to find. I'd recommend Googling it to see if you can find some in your area. Hope that helps! ~Mason

    Can the benefits of digestive cordials exist if using vinegar (ACV) instead of alcohol?

    • @grannysweet
      @grannysweet 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes. Daily cordials or tonic should be Ac vinegar . Allow for longer soak.

      i feel like for hard spices like this you need the alcohol for max extraction. herbal vinegars are more culinary than medicinal. i mean i'm sure some benefits would translate, just not the full effect.

    • @amylynn826
      @amylynn826 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@hatshepsutxlll doesn't it depend? Vinegar extracts different constituents than alcohol, I know its great for mineral content but I don't know how much vinegar overlaps with alcohol
