I don't care if all the parts match on this guitar or not, it sounds damn good. I think it is a keeper.

Great playing. To this day I do not understand when people say SRV was better than Hendrix. To me Hendrix was on another level from almost all other artists.
this is my idea srv is a bit more flashy Hendricks feels a little deeper.
I love both of them. I love SRVs tone and feel and his note choice. He’s a combo of Hendrix mixed with Albert King. He’s a good songwriter but Hendrix was a great songwriter. As an artist overall, Hendrix is totally original, completely innovative, Hendrix wins. But I still love SRV.
All props to hendrix but SRV blows him outta the water with his technique. Hendrix was more sloppy but much better songwriter

Bold as love is the most underrated hendrix song. Hardly ever gets mentioned when people talk about hendrix best hits. It has an amazing solo to end the song but the rhythm at the beginning and lyrics are phenomenal also.
He has so many hidden gems! He was a phenomenal songwriter and lyricist.

Bold as Love has always be my favourite Hendrix album. Bold as Love song is definitely a masterpiece.

Matthew, each time you make content you reinforce my belief in two of MY truths when it comes to music. Most especially guitar music. #1) The brand, parts, vintage of manufacture nor price make a "good" instrument. Because the guitar is a tool, YOU are the instrument. #2) While true that some guitars lend themselves to XYZ music style/sound better than others, ANY guitar from the cheapest to the most expensive will make music when the tool is used by the instrument. A player is a player. Thank you 🙏

This is gold. Tone is 💯. You pick up on some of Jimi’s motifs and make them your own with a little SRV sprinkled on top. Also, this song is just so so good!

Hendrix visit on earth was short cause he was on an epic tour of the universe and the galaxies beyond. We had him for a brief moment but the mimics have been leveraging his feel ever since
Day-um that was sweet. A lot of those immortals were heavily into Charlie Horse in the late 60s. Smacked out of their brains with addiction riding the tiger. I wonder what it did to affect their playing. Those that survived.

@@busternutt2874 You don't get the meaning of hearing some SRV in a Jimi song. I heard some pretty strong SVR tones and style from Matt playing Jimi mainly I think because Matt is super good at a SRV style. Matt is one of my favorite players.
