Most of my gold goes back into the trading guild I'm in. But, I'll also buy furnishings from the lux vendor, and help my dad as he started from scratch switching to PC.
Templar mains: donate gold to newbies to help out or donate to their trading guild to help with bids. DK mains: sit on the piles of gold to enhance their dragon RP experience Sorc mains: Magicka potions so they can keep streaking away from the first sign of trouble NB mains: Paying off their fines when they get caught Blade of Woeing in broad daylight, or laundering their stolen goods Necro mains: Skulls because they keep throwing them at people after setting them aflame and those aren’t cheap you know Warden mains: buy those plant furnishings to add to their house because the indoor garden isn’t going to assemble itself Arcanist mains: Books to support their reading addiction and for that new-book smell. Or that old-book smell.
Excuse me, if a NB pays a fine they're really bad NB in my opinion. I consistently deposit my hard earned money into the bank so the guards don't take away few thousand gold. Do you know how much time and how many broken lockpicks it took to earn those 5k?
Ty for the guides Arttea. Your guides helped me to become proficient at trading. And now I'm a proud Alinor property owner. :) #Alinor crest best home.
I spend most of my gold on my home's, or donate it to the guilds. I give my self a limit on how much gold i can spend, because in the past i spent so much gold, i end up having no gold to buy stuff with.
I'm currently spending most of my gold on motifs and almost exclusively for Master Writs. I use a very small bit of that for fashion, but furnishings is the true end-game. I dump a chunk back into the guild every week for whatever the guildmaster wants to do with it, but motifs are the main gold-sink.
My gold goes toward storage upgrades and donations to the guild bank as thanks for creating such a wonderful space. I'm not too concerned with quick earnings, but rather just enjoying the game at my own pace so gold is just another way to have some fun.
So I have an outfit on my main that I've had for a while now and put it together pretty early on my eso experience, and have had a lot of compliments. It doesn't have to be an endgame thing but might be a little harder for newer players.
I've definitely made a lot of gold that way - by sitting on Monster Mask & Shoulder style pages specifically. It's always a bit of a risk, 'cause you don't want to wait too long to sell them, lest they get reintroduced to the game for a limited time, but man you can earn a fortune doing that shit
I used to be a hardcore trader in this game, spend a lot of time (and monthly subscription money) to make a lot of gold in this game. Realised there is nothing.... literaly NOTHING worth spending my gold for. Spend the next three weeks with questing and fishing. Ended up quitting the game. The freedom... 🙂 the true secret on "how to make a lot of gold"? -> Have a maxed out crafter, at least one top spot trading guild, know the markets, and don't spend your gold on useless trash. Thats it.
As i was more into the Game my gold definetly was wasted Most on Fashion Scrolls, housing Shit and Crown Store Gifts 😅😅😅 But ufff alone Change Millions of Outfit Slots on Chars all the time because....crazy.... costed me sooo much xD Now as i am in a more or less Break....my gold just sits there and Looks good. BUT the time will come again i Sure xD
I play a female argonian for the ERP. When she's not busy being a business baddy I have her playing nurse in dungeons. As a warden she loves the mushroom. For real though. My main toon is an argonian warden healer, is my master crafter, and I enjoy playing the mark in MMOs.
i buy trial runs, for gear. Trial runs for skins. Dungeon runs for specific needs. I also hire a pvp grp for emp. Give away to randoms. Buy crowns for others. 😅
Hey I just returned to ESO and think I have a lot of Gold because I traded a lot before I went inactive. But I dont know what I should do with it. Also anyone knows a good guide how to come back into the game?
years of being a casual trader and selling dreugh wax i have 4mil gold, now to decide if i want lord/lady, clan-father/clan-mother or councilor for rp purposes
Players spend gold?!?!?! I just hoard it like some dragon 🐉 Seriously, I usually gift stuff to auction for my guild, give stuff to new players, offer free crafting services, buy motif pages and furniture recipes if they are substantially underpriced, sell furniture recipes far below value in my housing guild’s shop… But mostly I just hoard.
I buy mats if I don't have enough (especially Hakeijos, pot mats, and roe for food), but I mostly spend gold on motifs and plans, and the occasional trading gold for crowns. With motifs/styles, I try to finish off the ones I'm missing only a few of or buy ones for master writs, and for plans, I'm currently trying to figure out how to afford all these Hlaalu plans.... Have a bunch of housing project ideas so falling more into the fashion & housing abyss. Oh and of course, I spend too much at the lux
I'm currently spending my gold on inventory space so i don't have very much. I invested in provisioning early though so can craft myself decentish food
I essentially only spend gold on content, on investments to make more gold in the future (including learning motifs for mwrits), and on convenience. I have enough for years of content and I try to fish motifs at a discount/only when I need them. So I'm essentially only making gold now for fun and to flex on dc. :)
Most of the time I'm getting motifs or buying crown items (not right now though because DAYUM are they expensive ATM). On the weekends I get some of the furniture or sets from the weekend vendors, but the golden vendor has been ass lmao
LOL seeing my name in one of your vids surprised the hell out of me 😂😂😂😂, ended up being 7 mil which is extra insane on console economy 😂😂, suffice to say I'm broke again 😅
I get my gold from selling mats that I have accumulated and don't need that have gone to my craft bag from the free eso plus weeks. This goes toward helping new players when I am active begin playing and learning the game. Gold just helps me with helping them put a little style into their early play so they remain interested while they get a foot hold in the game.
I buy some event motifs, and never use them... There is no reason to go to my house, I hope we get some e.g. farming to make housing meaningful. I decorated my dummy, that was fun, but doing that for an empty shell without purpose feels pointless.
almost all my gold goes into housing, and by housing I mean buying houses, not decorating. Just trying to get a 100% collection but its getting harder and harder
Pretty much all of it goes to buying furnishing plans and then furnishings from the achievement vendors and the luxury vendor. I'm really heavy into housing and decorating and I have almost every single house in the game at this point.
Some end game players spend gold on raw materials, just as an investment, because the raw mats will increase in price over time, rather than just storing gold, which won't accrue any interest. I put some gold into guilds each week, mail some to my wife who never has any, spend some on new furnishing plans as they come out, if I like them and occasionally I'll decide to buy all unknown motifs for another alt. I think last time I bought every motif page that can be bought, it cost about 100M gold and that was probably 6 months ago and the character already new some styles/pages, so it would almost definitely be more now, so that is a great way to burn through gold, if that's what you want to do.
Yes, if the DLC or chapter is available in the crown store you can purchase it with gold via a crown exchange (you trade a player gold and in return they gift you the thing from the crown store that you want). This is a TOS-friendly practice, just be sure to trade your gold for crown items with a trusted friend or guildie, OR a verified service like TCE (tamriel crown exchange) so that you don't get scammed and have someone run off with your gold!
So, you guys banned me from your discord - when I did nothing to deserve it. I violated NONE of your rules and find this abhorrent. I WASone of your subscribers - however, seeing a syou guys jsut randomly banned me from your discord? I'll be sure to get you blacklisted form the trader community in ESO over the next few months. congratulations! you played yourself kid.
Ah after checking out your channel I remember why you were banned. We looked into your online presence and found that you had interacted with the subreddit “r/incest” in the past and liked really weird porn on Twitter. We definitely don’t want people like that in the community.
Ok Arttea, you got me. I lied on the poll. I really spend all of my gold on dummy thicc argonian pinups. Are you happy now? >:(
If you’re stupid like me you waste it on buying purple companion gear thinking that will let them tank in Endless Archive (it didn’t work)
Extremely common companions L I'm afraid 😔
Most of my gold goes back into the trading guild I'm in. But, I'll also buy furnishings from the lux vendor, and help my dad as he started from scratch switching to PC.
i hoard it and buy nothing
I spend my gold to buy dlc content :P if it saves me real money, then thats the best thing to spend it on, imo
If you're rich in ESO, start a trading guild, that's a fast way to go broke :D
So real 😔
Or get into PvP 🥲
Templar mains: donate gold to newbies to help out or donate to their trading guild to help with bids.
DK mains: sit on the piles of gold to enhance their dragon RP experience
Sorc mains: Magicka potions so they can keep streaking away from the first sign of trouble
NB mains: Paying off their fines when they get caught Blade of Woeing in broad daylight, or laundering their stolen goods
Necro mains: Skulls because they keep throwing them at people after setting them aflame and those aren’t cheap you know
Warden mains: buy those plant furnishings to add to their house because the indoor garden isn’t going to assemble itself
Arcanist mains: Books to support their reading addiction and for that new-book smell. Or that old-book smell.
implying wardens actually have money
Excuse me, if a NB pays a fine they're really bad NB in my opinion. I consistently deposit my hard earned money into the bank so the guards don't take away few thousand gold. Do you know how much time and how many broken lockpicks it took to earn those 5k?
Most of the items I spent gold on are motiefs and crown items. Or I did rather. Returning player here.
Ty for the guides Arttea. Your guides helped me to become proficient at trading.
And now I'm a proud Alinor property owner. :) #Alinor crest best home.
as a new player, ive been working on storage management , so spending my gold on opening my loot bag and bank space , and mount upgrades. great video!
I spend most of my gold on my home's, or donate it to the guilds.
I give my self a limit on how much gold i can spend, because in the past i spent so much gold, i end up having no gold to buy stuff with.
I buy stuff I dont need from the ESO thrift stores and place in my homes! Nice we are able to be a hoarder in ESO.. 🤣🤣🤣 not that I am...or anything!
LOL crusty bread I've been there on a tank DPS hybrid fml killing stuff was so slow back then. Rip 2h backbar
Hooooly I feel like a lot of us went through a janky tank dps phase.
Im glad it wasn't just me.
Motifs/ crown products via TCE/WCE. Also I do like hoarding gold and looking at the bank balances of my alts using inventory insight.
I'm here to be called 5 head in every Arttea video

For me, it's 25% style motifs, and 75% gilding out armor for trials
Another brilliant vid! I've been playing for years and there is always a ton I get out of these. Thanks Arttea!
Buy items that are cool + seasonal/time-limited. Then just sit and wait while time makes your wealth grow.

I’m British and I love crusty white bread 😁👍
LETSGOOOOOOO
How do you spend gold on argonian ERP (I'm asking purely out of curiosity)
I play a female argonian for the ERP. When she's not busy being a business baddy I have her playing nurse in dungeons. As a warden she loves the mushroom.
For real though. My main toon is an argonian warden healer, is my master crafter, and I enjoy playing the mark in MMOs.

years of being a casual trader and selling dreugh wax
i have 4mil gold, now to decide if i want lord/lady, clan-father/clan-mother or councilor for rp purposes
I spent 40 million on crates to get the Necrom Evening Attire. Damned crates.
Omggg did you end up getting it?? It’s a really nice outfit; I was pretty bummed to see that it was a crown gem exclusive 😩
@@Arttea I ended up buying it with gems ... it was worth it though I like it a lot I have it on my Dunmer vamp
Nothing, crown selling is down or nobody selling... 150m and counting, helping guild when they need
heroism potions ruined me i dont even ahve gold anymore
75% of my gold goes into getting better at PvP, it also makes me go broke
I use my gold to buy crowns as i refuse to pay real money for the game.
Inflation hits hard here ...
Crowns are expensive
All my gold goes into materials. 17 maxed out pvp characters need constant upgrades
If you have extra goals on a PlayStation server you just let me know
I buy crowns/crown crates, monster masks, & furnishings
This doubled my Anxiety and gave it to the next person..
I mostly buy furnishing plans, cause housing.
literally give it away to random people lol ESO gold doesnt have use in game hahaha
literally the only thing i dont have is a few furnishings and the eso white gold war torte recipe nothing else to save up for
So you are telling me to start selling Argonian ERP to get the real gold? ;)
I don't even play this game, but I'm watching a lot of your vids (I'm seriously considering getting the game though)
do it! it is great for your overall productivity to sink into an mmorpg as casual friendly as ESO is.

I like to use my gold to buy all the perfect roe 😊
motifs mainly motifs.
18 motifs sets left now
the chance of you replying is super low but what dagger or sword style is that you're using at 4:04?
I am using the dagger style from the crown store exclusive “Balorgh Arms Pack” :)
Artreta #1 crusty bread consumer confirmed
the endgamers don't want you to know that it's actually best in slot 😌
Crates and store items!!! Hoping Crow n Selling resumes properly.
It's back, unless they turned it off in the last 48 hrs I've been buying on WCE
I spend on styles 😂. Allot of fashion
a lot of players spend gold on sex chatting services ingame xD
HUH
Actually, GachiERP.
New Arttea Video. Hell Ya!
What is Argonian ERP?
I buy mats if I don't have enough (especially Hakeijos, pot mats, and roe for food), but I mostly spend gold on motifs and plans, and the occasional trading gold for crowns. Oh and of course, I spend too much at the lux
Once i seen how much a mournhold trader cost PER WEEK i quit thinking small. It blows my mind how people keep those traders consistently!
wait, you are not my mom?
I'm currently spending my gold on inventory space so i don't have very much. I invested in provisioning early though so can craft myself decentish food

I still spend my gold for some funny time with my female healer out if raid timed. Sadly she swaped from Argonian to breton 😢

i spent like half a million on flowers on the luxury vendor and i'm trying so hard to keep some of my money to last for next weeks flowers
Sell it for cash
What you’re build on Nightblade?
But you are my mom...
Thanks Mom lol
i was a poor until a few days ago when i joined a trading guild finally so now im working on getting all research traits lol
What is ERP?
I spend most of my gold on Fungal Grotto 1 carries.
Try to only buy motifs after major events as the markets are usually pretty saturated.
I dont have interest on ERP. But now it have my attention thanks mam!
your erp guide made me rich
That’s what I like to hear 👏👏👏
You’re making me want to switch from Xbox to PC. Keep up the great work!
thank you!
Like always, good information. Thank you.
