REResistance: "Shoo, Fly!"

Trio queue with xTheAngelPrince- playing Valerie and GuyStronger150 playing Becca, where we got a good Jill as our random 4th. This was against a Spencer who I think I ended up annoying greatly over the course of the match. I was able to get almost every active camera he was on in area 1, and although he tried to stop Jill and chase me away, we were able to hold our own easily and make it to area 2. The team found Yorick after a little searching, where I then spent the majority of the area standing off to the side to try to keep pressure on the camera in the back terminal room. The MM frequently switched cameras to focus on me and scare me away, including deploying a licker, hitting me with a goop shot, and firing at me with a turret. The MM had reroute in area 3, but after rerouting to the other side of the map, Jill and I carefully breached the new core room and took out the core, avoiding the MM's D-field and goop shots. The MM then controlled a creature to open the door we closed behind us, where a licker then began annoying me on my journey back... but in the meantime, Guy and Angel got the original core done, and the last core spawned in the center. I ran from the licker across the bridge to my team so that they could help me take it out, and as soon as I reached them, they got the final core done. But as soon as they did, the MM quit, and the game ended.
I remember I was quite disappointed at the time, but upon rewatching the footage, I can see just how utterly annoying I was for this MM. It seemed like no matter how much they tried to shoo me away, I just wouldn't leave or let up on cameras. It's strange how I had felt like I was struggling so hard to do my job in this one, when in fact, I was apparently doing it quite well, as the MM was so distracted with me, that the rest of the team was able to get the objectives done with little issue. I can hardly fault him for deciding that enough was enough at the very end.

I guess we really ended up annoying each other 😅 I still thought it was a good match though, because I definitely had to put in some effort. I guess once I had made it over to the team though, it would've been an easy win, since the final core was right outside the exit room.
