Excellent bass solos and the drum playing and solo cannot go without mention -- It's amazing work by the drummer in how he gets the dynamics of playing a real set out of that machine.
I would say that thanks to you Hadrien, it cannot get any better! :) Good job, guys! The first song's solo is ideal -- listen to it attentively and you will realize how music could actually speak Your language!
the first bass solo from 3:08 is so Good. listen to the growth of it, till the last passages on 5:08, with that chord ending...just amazing. I love also the way had groove, very original and deep. Good work mate!
Oh my....this video is an epic performance in disguise!! Hadrien executed such a rich harmonic path from 5:08 to 5:27 when the A section came in. Too beautiful to be overlooked!!! 5 brilliant stars!!!
He's David "Fingers" Hayes, he plays in a duo called the Electronic Jazz Ensemble with Kevin Keith, who's a phenomenal Chapman Stick player and Bass Guitarist.
14:12 Tosin Abasi Thumb work. excuse me. This is where Tosin learns some of his chops. From GOOD Bass Players. These Guys are Incredible. Not easy to play drums this realistic on a touch pad dev. Very Impressive. Its No wonder Jada Wanted the Bass player in her line up.
@clausloeber i think you misunderstood him... i think he's implying harden is a sick ass bass player... and it often seems like he has way more strings then he's playing? i don't know
Great performance I like these guys and Presonus sounds great too ... I agree , it's a shame some posers like Phil Smith , Brad Johnson .. stalk on these musicians , I saw both on talkbass site ( the trash posers ) ...They should load some of their music stuff ...
The presenter says: "on bass guitar, with WAY too many strings...". Sorry, but there are only ONE extra string on Hadriens bass and what is implied exactly? That only four strings is the only legitimate number of strings for a bass?
Personal favorite would be SVR. On the jazz side I like Charlie Parker and Miles. Look, I know the guy is talented, I just didn't like this particular solo. I also like Aretha Franklin, but I'm not blown away by everything she has ever done either. I would think that would be easy to understand.
wow if that wasnt musical to you then you really need to start learning music my friend...please take notes cuz your comment was elementary and he's a master at what he does...don't hate just appreciate his God given gift....God bless you
ahhhh, I see that you already know this punk ...!!! Talk bass ...LOL , there are some elements on this site completely depraved ...Smith and jauqo are part of these few posers ...This guy, phil smith, is the developer of IKickBook it's crazy ...
PHIL SMITH (IGigBook developer and number one in the hatred on TALKBASS forum ) where are you ? come out of your cave and just come drooling over these musicians ...as you always do ..You have a nice opportunity now ...
Nah...I don't need to learn anything. I play 3 instruments and sing. I didn't hate, I just said I didn't feel it. I also never critiqued his ability or talent. The next time you call someone elementary be sure to replace "cuz" with "because."
im just amazed by the onlookers who know nothing of what is actually occurring in front of their faces. It just shows how many non players are running around. As far as anyone hating this, it just goes to show they cant take it when someone awesome is just putting it in their faces!!!!! Get over yourself and realize that there are people who can play better than just about everyone else. use it for inspiration instaed of just hating cuz you know you suck!!!!!
you forgott to mention , Brad Johson and champbassit from calcutta ...wowww ALL pro stalkers fron Talkbass forums ... they spend nights and days on that site ...
Excellent bass solos and the drum playing and solo cannot go without mention -- It's amazing work by the drummer in how he gets the dynamics of playing a real set out of that machine.
First tune's called 'I Can't Help It', written by Stevie Wonder. At !0:15 they start MJ's classic 'Don't Stop 'Till You Get Enough'.
Oh yeah, @ 15:08 they go into Jaco Pastorius' classic 'Teen Town'.
ONE OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL SONGS BY STEVIE - AND WOW ... three musicians

I love also the tone the keyboardist is using
Great Covers!!
Ladies & gentleman, Mr. Hadrien Feraud!
0:16 Erm...I don't think 5 strings is considered "way too many strings." Could be wrong though.
Oh my God, Is Hadrien Human? He plays so effortless, I think he was born with a bass guitar in his hands for sure...
yeah Hadrien.:)
Randy, you're my Hero!!!
Great stuff...I'm taking up drumming soon!!! Bass and key players are top drawer too. Wish I could have been there.
It's M.Jackson's also (like the second track). Written for him by Steve Wonder.
practically on cue for when Hadrien comes into Teen Town... pretty funny
Hadrien has finally started grooving!
Before it was just fast techniqual lines, but now he seem to have matured a bit!
At heart, yes he is. But we suspect he is really the last son of Bass Krypton.
@WirSindRocker these are signature samples, made specially for Haynes. You can get similar ones in NativeInstruments' products.
14:12 Tosin Abasi Thumb work. excuse me. This is where Tosin learns some of his chops. From GOOD Bass Players.
These Guys are Incredible. Not easy to play drums this realistic on a touch pad dev.
Very Impressive.

muitoo bom, gostei pra caramba,, parabéns
it's "I can't help it"... I've head it from gretchen parlatto but I don't know whose is it.
Wicked sick!
I think it sounds pretty killer, and it looks super fun for a non-drummer like myself to play.
is that eric clapton the the background walking at 7:38?
I thought that was Me'Shell NdegéOcello who came into view at around 1:30?
Hadrien very often uses melodic minor scale modes to create tensions.
which drum machine he is using and which hihat pedal is that?? so cool
oh my God!
Nice job fellas.
I've never seen that before........who makes it? Seems that guy's got it down.
really? hhmmmmm it was great.. very musical.. that is if you understand that type of playing and that level of music.. : )
@clausloeber i think you misunderstood him... i think he's implying harden is a sick ass bass player... and it often seems like he has way more strings then he's playing? i don't know

does the drummer play "actual drums"?
Personal favorite would be SVR. On the jazz side I like Charlie Parker and Miles. Look, I know the guy is talented, I just didn't like this particular solo. I also like Aretha Franklin, but I'm not blown away by everything she has ever done either. I would think that would be easy to understand.
