I got this one like a year ago or so. I love it, especially for the gym or hot summer days. When I first got it in it was just straight grapefruit Ambroxin. As it ages it gets musky, but not in a bad way. The Grapefruit opening stays with me the entire time, probably because I spray my shirt as well as skin. For the price it’s a no brainer, and it lasts like 8-10 hours after it sits for a few months.
I love the dry down the most actually. The citrus still hangs out a little bit but the musk and ambroxan come out more making it feel a little more masculine to me.
I agree, the dry down is the best part for me. Everybody is describing this as a juicy grapefruit and I don't get that at all. I would never describe this as juicy. Frankly, I wouldn't even describe this as a citrus scent. This is a fresh spicy blue scent with Musk in the dry down.

What doesnt work is the middle eastern clone funk. Sorry but man that’s the reason why I stopped with the clones. That one note that bothered me has always killed clones.
This is the second scent where I have noticed something like that as well. I bought shiaka red and that has something that's off putting and I threw it in the garbage. This has a hint of that smell as well but much more subdued. I can put up with it in this one. I like the dry down here but don't smell anything grapefruit or juicy as described by most on TH-cam.
Man this stuff was waaaaay overhyped. Im glad people are no longer praising it. Its just a plain jane grapefruit bomb. I actually use it as a bathroom air freshener but i cant wear it as a fragrance. And BDC is waaay better of a fragrance.
I have tried Tygar and for the scent profile, I don’t find it to be worth it. But it’s very nice so maybe I’ll try this Turathi when there’s space in the collection 😊. I was afraid that it would smell synthetic like many other cheapies but it doesn’t sound like that based upon many reviews!

Perhaps I am nose blind .. But for the price its a no brainer.. I actually preferred this vibrato, which is much more expensive..

I was interesting In getting lv afternoon swim, so I went to the LV store to test it, and strangely was getting a close smell to turathi blue, so was on the fence if I should purchase if I have a cheaper similar smelling fragrance?
@@bosswan5588 I hear a lot of people compare Afternoon Swim with the Tygar scent profile which I honestly don’t understand. I would say if you get LV AS it wouldn’t be redundant with Turathi Blue.

I let mines macerate for about a month and WOW! Absolutely phenomenal and in my opinion almost 1-1 to tygar! Definitely check this out

Hopefully it gets better with age and that fantastic opening lasts longer because currently it falls a little flat in the dry down.
Turathi blue is some good stuff. Smells amazing. Nice longevity.

I layer turathi blu over brioni Eclat for an icier scent profile. The dry down is muskier and less flat.

VERY easy scent to go nose blind too, people at wound you most definitely smelling it, amazing scent though
It just smells like the dry down of the original 2005 black XS , thyme , apple peel , dry ginger .. you may get bored of it .
Revisit that your Turathi Blue after few weeks, your opinion will change
