@Nightmare Tale That is incredibly not true to why I didn't put him here, I allow anyone to be on no matter what opinion they may have. Only reason why he didn't get in was do to him pausing a lot which does ruin the sync.

Kerry on RWBY Rewind already confirmed that Adam is dead. So no that doesn't work. With wounds like those he wouldn't have enough time to get recovered. Even if he survived hitting his head he will drown.

@Firelord Look at how his character use to be. Now he acts like a clingy ex who never let go of her, he use to be like what he did he thought was right for the faunus, then the bumble bee ship seemed so forced, and his semblence only applies on his sword?!?!?! Anyone else think its stupid how RT just fucked his entire character?
@@MrDoge17 He was introduced as an asshole who would let innocent people die. Including Fanus. They never derailed him.

He cared about her and then when she left hated her yeah, but there was multiple times he could've chased after her and he chose not to.
In the Black trailer she dips and he makes zero attempt to chase her.
At the fall of beacon they run away and he watches them while making zero attempts to chase her.
I don't know, maybe that's just Rooster Teeth's poor planning/writing showing. But they did somewhat mess up and change his character from how he originally was. He went from a determined selfish lonewolf, to a power hungry ex who couldn't get over Blake. His dialogue can be EXTREMELY cringe inducing and feels forced whenever he says stuff with a romantic connotation.
"What do you even see in her" like as if Blake ran away with Yang from him, oof.
Or Yang's comeback saying he was pretending to be someone he isnt. Yet the Black trailer clearly shows that he is supposed to be a man who fell into madness and anger from life's hardships. He's been worked like a slave, branded, and when he fought back and killed extremist that attacked him he was praised and began his decent.
Not to mention scenes in this fight like Yang blocking his moonslice twice make zero sense... His character was obviously meant to have layers but with them trying to favor towards Blake and BumbleBee shippers drowning everything else out, resulted in that deepness getting loss underneath the stupid "Crazy Stalker Ex Boyfriend" characterization that they stuck on him in his final moments. Then his death "Oh" was literally the WORST thing they could've put down for him... :/

@@artsfan5683 I don't get how people think they could get Adam's entire character from a trailer where he barely said anything or emoted at all. Plenty of reasons he might not have chased her immediately, up to the fact that maybe he didn't expect her to abandon him. Confusion, shock, a moving train, lots of things. She gets away during the Fall of Beacon after he tortures her for leaving him and tries to cut her head off. But he's already maimed Yang, someone close to her while promising to do the same to everyone she loves. The message had been sent (funny enough, Blake did literally run away from him with an unconscious Yang there).
I can't say I agree they messed up the character because he didn't live up to certain people's expectations. He was pretending to be a righteous freedom fighter standing up to an oppressive regime and hid much of his clearly unstable tendencies from Blake (she's surprised when he casually talks about leaving the innocent people on the train to die for example). Adam was an extremist himself who didn't care about collateral damage (human or faunus, enemy or ally). He wasn't looking to better the world in the same way Blake wanted from the White Fang. And sure he had a tortured past but layers don't change the fact that he was a murderer who killed anyone in his way. His obsessed characterization existed since Volume 3 and was one of his many layers along with his extremism. It kind of makes sense that he'd want to kill anyone who abandoned the cause in that sense, it was just deeply personal with Blake. And honestly, I see more people complaining about BB shippers than the actual shippers drowning anyone else out most of the time.
Whether the loss was justified is purely a matter of opinion but Blake and Yang fought with everything they had and it still took both of them to get the job done. I'd say the writing was fine imo, it was a deserved victory.
@@Zoidberryable Firstly the Black trailer he did only raise his hand to her, and so I will give you that. But his character, yeah depth was barely attempted with him. He clearly could've been a MUCH better character but as I said, rooster teeth is very inexperienced with writing and it's a problem that's plagues RWBY throughout.
The obsession has always been there since volume 2, yes, but never did it have "crazy ex" undertones til volume 5 & 6. Not to mention how horrible they treated his character in volume 5, he did care about his people and the cause in the beginning. The adam trailer showed that he cared and only started to make his descent after being praised for killing in the name of self defence. But, at that point he had already started wearing the masks nd I assume he had already been branded like an animal. So (I speculate) he looked at it as sweet vengeance whenever he got the chance to kill someone. Then in volume 2 when cinder came to talk to him he was shown to care about the faunus, or atleast to put them over humans when he questioned why they should help their "human plan". The only time and the first time they showed that he didn't care about faunus was in volume 5. So he wasn't pretending, he was indeed genuine during the Black trailer as the only passengers were crew members working for the schnee dust company train they were destroying.
When you take the time to build up a character's "threat level" so to speak as an obstacle for one character then proceed to fail at making me FEEL like that character has overcome said obstacle. You have failed at your job, I'm a very empathetic person to heart and even I was like "okay" Instead of being happy for Blake when she made it out of that fight on top.
But, the fight being completely earned/fair no I can't give that one because of two glaring things that don't make sense. Firstly, Adam's moon slice is so baffling because no one knows how much it can do which how much is given.
If I'm correct they tried to fix this by stating at their con that Yang was "tired" when adam cut off her arm. So he didn't have much aura to cut through I guess. Sure I'll give them that because there isn't much that known in that altercation besides yang is tired and Adam absorbed 3 bullets into his sword.
But tell me, why didn't Adam use his gun? You know the one weapon on his hip that he ALWAYS uses in a fight? The one long range weapon that would definitely help in a bout with two opponents? It doesn't add up, I like that Blake stood no chance til Yang got there. It could be taken in a metaphorical sense that helps to enforce her strength and growth with others. And I do appreciate that Yang really couldn't take him out on her own, but for the most part she actually did fairly well. So take that as you will I really didn't care about that. But I personally do not feel like the fight should've went that way, or ended the way it did.
