The 1989 Batmobile can be used in free roam only once you've cleared the streets of the drones tanks. There's no Battle Mode for this Batmobile, that means you can't start missions that involve tank battles or use the car during the story. The Batsuit, instead, can be used anywhere, anytime.
Yeah, it's true but Batman 1989 is still is the best Batman movie ever made, along with the follow up, Batman Returns with Michelle Pfeiffer and Danny Devito.
@@unknownamazingchap2355 1989 is fantastic. and i love it. there is some... slight issues with it though. namely the joker. no, jack nicholson does a fantastic job with the joker. the problem lies in his backstory. joker does NOT need to be a personal enemy of bruces by being the man who killed his parents.... nor do we really need to know how he BECAME the joker. this was the exact problem the new origin movie has. granted, 89 joker can be forgiven, one because nicholson himself is just that damn entertaining, and the other because 89 was the mainstream non-comic audiences first taste of a serious batman. because in the jokers own words, he prefers his backstory to be multiple choice. that sometimes he remembers it one way, and other times he remembers it another. all of which DO involve batman, but it seems batman either doesnt remember nor does he care WHERE joker came from. not saying joker '89 WASNT amazing. he damn well is. the problem is purely his backstory and not the joker himself. still... the 89 batsuit looks just as sick as ever. and im so, so happy i can finally wear it in an arkham game.

You know what would have been cool? If they release DLC skins not only for Batman and playable characters but for villains too, It would just add more replay ability to the story. How cool would it be to see a different Penguin, Two-Face, Riddler, Poison Ivy, Harley Quinn, etc.

It can shoot missiles and ram though.... which is enough for me, because this Batmobile isn't built to fight a robot army... I would've loved some features like it being able to fire smokebombs or nails to get rid of tailing vehicles...
No it wouldn't. For instance that one part in the gane where you use Battle Mode to slowly manuever through a rooftop after getting the power winch. Wouldn't work. The Burton mobile wouldn't work in the story due to its size....
This DLC pack REALLY brought back memories of the good old Sega CD Batman Returns. I loved that game (just because 3D driving was such a new thing back then). Arkham Knight kind of brought those feelings back again for me.

When driving on the Penguin’s course, it would be interesting to hear Danny DeVito’s voice from “Batman Returns” delivering some of the lines from when he took control of the Batmobile.
When you hear that music from over thirty years ago slowly building up......seeing the familiar landmarks like the ducks and balloons...then bam! The music the drums, then the horns blast with the strings adding mystery....we love you Rocksteady!!!!!

All the other videos I found of this skin, the game was practically muted so the uploader could fucking yammer on incessantly. Should be out in September - 3 story DLCs, 6 months of content, one every other month. Since last month was Batgirl and this month was Batmobile, next month should be it, seeing as it's the second story DLC.

I was already impressed with Arkham City including the Batman TAS costume, but I'm just amazed that Arkham Knight features both the 1989 movie costume and Batmobile. Those Arkham game developers really know how to please us long-time Batman fans.
So great! The Bat symbol on his chest is a little bit bigger than in the 89 movie and his shoe buckles are silver in the game, but black in the movie😁 The rest is perfect!

Is it just me or did this game disappoint anyone ? This game never gave me the same rush I had when I played batman Arkham knight . It feels bland . The story was not totally original and I knew who the Arkham knight was from a mile away . All these race tracks and dlc don't make up for the missing challenge maps . So disappointed in rocksteady .

Thats because Paul Dini was in charge of the original Arkham games. Honestly people put Rocksteady so HIGH after Origin's fail. As if they could do no wrong. And I called it. To everyone wondering. The september Pack was leaked on PSN last week. It's called Crime Fighter Challenge Pack #1 and from the picture that was leaked as well it should add new combat and predator AR Challenges with character selection. Batman, Robin, Nightwing, Catwoman.
That would be cool if there was also a DLC pack where you could play through the story of the movie, that would be even cooler with Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamel's voices
The 70's Batsuit and Iconic Grey & Black Batman skin (Heir to the Cowl) are the best suit I have ever seen especially the Black and Grey the detail in it is flawless.

I don't know if I'm the only one but I am actually really happy about these packs, because of how cheap they are. They are only 1.59 over here in the UK, but the other skin packs in the other games were around double. And this is coming from a guy who rarely buys DLC. In fact, this game is the first time I bought dlc in months.
Looking at this, I still can't believe games look like this nowadays. Comparing THIS to what we had 10 years ago is just nuts! Makes me wonder what we have 10 years from now...

Playable character reskins are one thing, but I'd love to see a Jack Nicholson reskin for the Joker.

they could have easily cooked up some BS expandable parts and called it battle mode. I'm starting to hate what rocksteady's done with this game. Arkham City feels like a more complete product.

Nice Batman and Batman Returns touches
Is it just me or did this game disappoint anyone ? This game never gave me the same rush I had when I played batman Arkham knight . It feels bland . The story was not totally original and I knew who the Arkham knight was from a mile away . All these race tracks and dlc don't make up for the missing challenge maps . So disappointed in rocksteady .

Thats because Paul Dini was in charge of the original Arkham games. Honestly people put Rocksteady so HIGH after Origin's fail. As if they could do no wrong. And I called it. One of the things I thought before AK's release was "What if the game turns out to be GLITCHY AS FUCK!" Now look at the PC. It was Paul Dini that turned the Arkham games into masterpieces.....

To everyone wondering. The september Pack was leaked on PSN last week. It's called Crime Fighter Challenge Pack #1 and from the picture that was leaked as well it should add new combat and predator AR Challenges with character selection. Batman, Robin, Nightwing, Catwoman.

I grew up with the Tim Burton Batman films and I'm overjoyed to find we can play as Michael Keaton Batman.

The 70's Batsuit and Iconic Grey & Black Batman skin (Heir to the Cowl) are the best suit I have ever seen especially the Black and Grey the detail in it is flawless.

I don't know if I'm the only one but I am actually really happy about these packs, because of how cheap they are. They are only 1.59 over here in the UK, but the other skin packs in the other games were around double. And this is coming from a guy who rarely buys DLC. In fact, this game is the first time I bought dlc in months.
Looking at this, I still can't believe games look like this nowadays. Comparing THIS to what we had 10 years ago is just nuts! Makes me wonder what we have 10 years from now...
