........ like a Dickens' novel, only with swearing. Oh Mr King is so very good. And very much a Dickens of the 20/21st century. For which thanks, rescuing me through many difficult times.
This is the first audiobook I've ever listened to. I started listening to talk radio while driving but that's too political, then I went to stories by Mr Ballen which are good but difficult to find ones I didn't hear already, so I tried this. Now I'm hooked!
Agree, he's really good! If you haven't heard it yet, check out SK's You like it Darker. He has Will Patton (the actor) reading it, and he does an amazing job too. I didn't think anybody was as good as Frank Muller but he's close
@@ElijahRadioProphet-d1s no Stephen King does not use AI to do his audiobooks. Will Patton has been narrating Stephen King's books for a while now and last I checked he's done about six or seven of them. Stephen King isn't a scam artist or a thief. He's one of the biggest authors in the world, which makes it pretty easy for him to get celebrities to do his books lol. Duh.
Just had this and your channel recommended, after 10 seconds of hearing you talk, I could hear character in your voice and you sound interesting. I haven’t read or heard this one before, I’m still really new to audiobooks and I’m really enjoying them, I often have the living room tv switched off, so I’m finding audiobooks a nice alternative to music and documentaries. Got my subscription pal.
@ElijahRadioProphet-d1s doesn't know the difference between real narrators and AI lmfao! Actually, to the OP, it's not the person with the channel reading this, its a proper audiobook with a voice actor, don't listen to the bloke who doesn't know his ass from his elbow and have a good listen!
I listen almost exclusively audios on YT- from BBC dramas to USA sci-fi stories & yes it's always nice to find new channels 💚❤️ And with a vivid imagination, who needs to watch TV, not me lol
@@theodoreroelofsz44 ‘N’ is the patient of the psychiatrist who is narrating the story. the only thing I didnt like about this story is that the boy only sees spirits upon demand instead of on a regular basis. The only thing that saved it is how Mr Hill described how people react when sensing spirits.

I have found Kings short stories to be hit and Miss. unfortunately this is a miss. However three hits have stayed in my mind, The Raft, Fireworks, and the name of third escapes me, but it was about a man who got locked in one of a block of workers toilets and nobody around.
Very well read, great narrator. Disappointing story, could have been up there with Kings best, but very sad to see such a prolific author resorting to woke.
i read the book and just listened to this. this was better. the narrator was fantastic.
I agree- the narrator is awesome. Great story!
Super good story and narration! So glad it's available here for free! No ads either. 🎉

Great book and great narrator! It's been a huge pleasure!
Great story by a great author and the narrator is amazing!

Thanks for this. It's a wonderful tale, but so enjoyable with this speaker.
Thank you for uploading this. Subbed to your channel
Great book.
Great narration.
Made painting the fence fly by.
Thanks
Seth Numric is an incredible voice actor. Quality audiobook

So enjoyable. I really liked this voice actor.
Awesome narration! 😊
Amazing reading. Very enjoyable, I hope I find more of this reader’s books
One of the best books ever!
Thank you 😊
Pretty good. one of the one or two Sk books I had not yet read.
Thank you for the upload!

I appreciate your video. Thank you very much!
Thank you so much
Classic Stephen King,, I've never known my father and thanks to King, I won't be looking for my father,
Good story and narration. Weird background music

N was SKs greatest masterpiece so far. This is looking good.
I agree!
Pls explain "N"...

Is this the full audiobook? Another channel I was listening to only posted part of this story and I missed the ending.
You'd think, being over 6 hours, it's the full audio... (Hopefully)
Plenty are longer than 6 hrs@@darkangel6742

The version on Audible is the same length as this.
My first time with this voice... comments later........
Up to after 1 1/2 hrs, the narrator became CLEARER & CLEARER
I was worried as the prologue seemed to be a MUMBLE.
(so far, so good).

Why does Terrio sound like Gollum? 😂😂😂😂
The dead lights again!
Dad to know Kung has gone full liberal when his readers are the exact opposite. I guess being rich comes with a guilt I will never have
Ending was revolting.
Out of nowhere too i was not ready for that shit. Well that's certainly going to stick with me..

Telefungus..🤣🤣🤣
Decent story but the dirty cop woman is almost unbearable to listen to and it did spoil the book for me.

How did King resort to woke in this book?
SK is incredibly woke
ewwww The very end is the horror. WTH?!
I have found Kings short stories to be hit and Miss. unfortunately this is a miss. However three hits have stayed in my mind, The Raft, Fireworks, and the name of third escapes me, but it was about a man who got locked in one of a block of workers toilets and nobody around.
Both great stories! I really enjoyed those two as well
Great narration but story sucked
The 'N' audiobook read by William Hurt is the single greatest work SK has ever produced in a bunch of mediocre crap 😊😊😊
King done with you and your forcing politics yuck😢
He'll be heartbroken.
Haha
@ElizabethTyler-rv5lk what did you just do, take your time.

Why does he have to use that weird gangster voice when he does the voice for Liz lol
