  • Interoception is the perception of one’s inner environment, particularly as it relates to bodily sensations. It is our capacity to bear witness to the feelings inside, from muscular tension to heart beats, from the rhythm of the breath to the relative fullness of our stomach. With the exception of certain severe medical conditions, everyone has some degree of interoception, as it would be impossible to live functionally without it.

Your body always wants the best for you. Every interoceptive feeling is a friendly messenger! You may not understand your body, but he loves you more than you can imagine!

After getting high blood pressure from panic attacks. I had so much anxiety that it gave me panic attack’s that caused my hyper tension. I didn’t want to take meds because the panic attack meds made me not me. So I had to control constant panic attacks. I learned to count my heart beat by concentrating really hard. I can tell if my heart if good or bad just by the beat. Whenever I concentrate on a main source of pain it hurts so much more. I don’t like it being able to do this. Sometimes I’m trying to sleep and my brain start concentrating on counting my beats. It’s hard to turn off

What a trippy little video! I loved it! I am studying Interoception from a Neurobiological perspective with extremely intelligent professors who, unfortunately, are not the best teachers for my learning style. Thank you for your video!!!

IT'S REALLY ALL ABOUT "THOUGHT". Every experience you have is based on conscious AND unconscious "THOUGHT". Nothing more...

Why would you stream a video for the autistic community with such a startling sound bite for the intro..? Not even gradually offensive, just full on assault to someone who is likely watching with noise canceling headphones.
    Ouch
