Kanye West My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy Sample Breakdown Album
"One day I'll marry a pornstar"
*KIM KARDASHIAN HAS ENTERED THE CHAT*
Part of the lyrics from Lost in the World, one of the songs on this album, is a love letter he wrote for Kim.
DefinitelyNot Blitzcrank it’s from hell of a life not lost in the world

The fact that he re sampled the power sample for lost in the world there is wild

I loved how he used the dark knight quote
Top 3 album of this decade
Thank you
congrats on 100k my brother
I remember I beat saints row 3 and power came on and from that second I’ve always thought Kanye is amazing and easily the greatest artist of my generation
Do every sample for Exmilitary by Death Grips
Devil On a New Dress and Hell Of a Life have to be two of Kanye's most uderrated songs
This is really amazing I love this
Devil in a new dress is slept on so hard
Frank Sinatra it’s arguably one of the most celebrated on the album behind runaway. Far from slept on
This is what 5000 hours on each song sounds like
The ending holy shit
Ye sampled rock, alt-pop, R&B, new age, and old school rap in order to make a masterpiece. His sampling game was at it's peak in 2009-2010
This video Is the Holy grail for all of users
That sample really makes that guy sound like he said “ludiacha” and I always thought that’s what he said lol.
People say that this album is overrated. Nah. This is a masterpiece.

So appalled too
This album is an artistic masterpiece and it's damn near perfect
Bruh, you got Kanye fucked up. The compilation of samples and the seamless transitions of the production are amazing, not to mention the creativity involved in picking these tracks to sample. I dare you to even fathom a sample on this man's level, and then we can talk about writing credits.

Devil on a New Dress it's a gorgeous song, those samples are incredible. One of my fav Kanye songs so far.
Favorite Kanye song
An Episode of Dissect breaks down the song amazingly. The chopped loops were from another producer. kanye and his studio musicians ran with it and fleshed it out.
It used to be mine until I found out Kanye didn’t produce it 😔
Melon dislikes this.
Kaleb Bell that is kinda crazy since it sounds like the most “kanye style” beat
How the actual hell do they find all this music?
Nyve extreme digging. He spends a LOT of time on his instrumentals.

Adam Hejze blame game?
Adam Hejze That's Blink & Mike Dean for you! 🐐
Agreed. Feel sorta bad that it's my favourite off the album since its of like like 2 songs Kanye didn't produce, but whatcha gonna do.
It's just so beautiful
As much as the samples came from another producer, the songwriting as well as the studio musicianship really did knock it out the park. It would have been a hot chopped beat on its own but with with way less impact than it has now. Dean is brilliant at not stepping on samples and staying in his lane. It's not easy.
Devil in a New Dress’ and Runaway instrumentals were made by angels
Not that the whole album isn’t beautifully produced, but those two are the climax when it comes to production on this album
Lucas Xavier dos Reis blame game
You typed my name.
How much did his dress cost?
I agree with devil in a new dress but runaway kinda had a too deep and melancholic sound. It was still good of course but I wouldn't say that it was made by angels like devil in a new dress
Bro who's Devin
The way west’s brain works is insane. I think sometimes with hip hop we focus so much on lyrics. But his work on the production side of this album is insane.
Thomas Soley the same man that pissed on his Grammy

@@rybread9574 absolutely in history. I'd say it's up there with classics like Fleetwood Macs Rumors, Illmatic, Apatite For Destruction, TPAB and others.
idk why melon not like this album
MarTin ShorLux nah it isn't, but he thinks it's his second most important album
6/10 means he liked it
he just wasn't that invested in kanye's personal life, and since the album revolved so much around that, he couldn't really get down with a lot of the ablum
he still liked it though
Mazin Omer I seriously hate this argument. When I first listened to MBDTF, I barely knew a damn thing about Kanye, nor did I particularly care about him, yet I quickly acknowledged this album was a masterpiece. I usually agree with Melone (or at least understand when he's coming from), but he made a shit argument for the low score.
It's called an opinion guys. I don't particularly like this album. But I like Kanye
It really is a garbage argument, so for him Tyler the Creator's life was interesting enough to give his album, which is pretty personal, an 8 but not Kanye's?
Fuck the score system anyways...

@@antoniorizea2104 I’m speaking for the general case of music constantly being strung along and overhyped by the idolizing of their creators - people need to stop prioritizing categories over individual experiences, much is the case for an album that is as thematically incoherent as mbdtf - don’t get me wrong it’s definitely a good collection of songs, but why raise the market for “masterpiece” when there is still so much room for improvement

Something I really enjoyed about this video was that you jade it feel like an adventure of sorts. As we're traveling along the story and the emotion of the album, the visuals that you accompany both with the sample and the song, particularly at the end, Sonia felt like an album itself in a way, deconstructed almost. Great editing on this one, man.
Connor P Idk about the visuals for the samples, but the visuals for the song are actually from a video Kanye made to accompany the album
SuperUltimategeek I'm aware it's from the Runaway video. But I also thought the images that accompanied the sample origins, specifically at the end with "Who Will Survive In America?", showing riots, violence and terror before an immediate cut to black was a really cool aesthetic choice that made this feel like more than just the standard sample video other channels do
Right?!?! I've returned to this video multiple times now.

MBDTF is one of the top 10 albums of all time..... You just have to agree on that!!!
Top 25 for sure but 10 is a nono
Nigga named Kyle ooo you’re very hard. this album is good yes, but frankly it isn’t top 10 albums of all time. frankly you can’t put this on the same level as something like kendricks tpab, it just isn’t as good, it doesn’t follow nearly a powerful narrative and frankly the songs are on par or worse, and that’s just tpab by k dot. there are so many amazing albums not only recently (think blonde) but also throughout history (dark side of the moon) it just isn’t that good
Phoenix I’d for sure put MBDTF on the same pedestal as TPAB. Yea rapping wise and poetically TPAB is highly superior but MBDTF artistically is a masterpiece, the sounds, vocals, instruments, production, verses etc. There’s a reason why this won album of the decade
i dont
