This interpretation is too slow and too draggy. It's an energetic ethnic song (I should know because this song was based from the region where I live). The composer even intended to write it in an energetic and lively manner. But kudos for singing it clean!
Energetic? You don't know shit so stop talking. The first song Wiyawi is a lullaby! Search that here on TH-cam and you'll see an actual person who's from that tribe singing. The Three Kalingga chants are arranged like that by Nilo Alcala purposely. Arrangement =/= The original ethnic song. Interpretations are interpretations for the sake as a choir piece. Orde-e is another example of folk song which has a somber piece and another "energetic" piece for children. Tangina.
@@fabiodlx Talagang may mura po ha? Hehe. I know the meaning of the song. And I know what I'm talking about because my choir already performed that piece. I'm Cordilleran and I also conduct choirs. I also know Orde-e because we already performed that in one of our concerts. So yes, I do know what I'm talking about. You're right about Wiyawi though. I agree with their interpretation on that part. But for Salimdummay and Mambayu... That should be more energetic. Di mo po kailangan magmura. That's just my opinion po.
The song is really beautiful explicit
Wow from kalinga here!
Hi what's are the lyrics of the songs, I just need it for my project
It's a womderful piece, but it should have been more rythmic. Sorry it's a bit slow but beautiful all together.
