    Tank slapper at the end had me kraking up. Good recovery though

    Floating over the crest of 5 makes for some wicked tank slappers . Looked like several liter bikes blazing the straights and then getting destroyed in the S's . Great riding .

    Hot damn you were flying! You got everyone on the brakes at 7:50. Well done!! 👏

    Those late breaking and quick turns had me clenching my butt cheeks

      It’s all about being comfortable...once you learn the bike to know how it’s gonna react you can do amazing things without worry.

    Really shows at the start how bad a missed shift can hurt you , he is flying!!!

    • @zachsears6910
      @zachsears6910  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yup I got on my shifting and hit a false neutral. Didn’t wanna pop it back in gear right after so I slowed up a bit then kicked it in

    Awesome job outbraking them at 7:50. Killing the 600 man. I used to live close to this track but it was before I rode. Definitely excited to go ride it one day. Especially with a fricking straight that lets you get up to 175+

    you do a great job of keeping that bike screaming in the powerband i saw you shift down to 1st for a few corners ive never done that on the track but maybe ill try where my rpms drop to low in 2nd on some slower entry corners i have a 750

      Yeah I saved it. Was tired as hell from coaching other friends/riders. I’m by far not a good video editor. I just cut the boring parts out

  • @Ac22768

    Cool. Man I hate having to do the pass all over again. Then they chalk it up to “oh yeah well the 600s handle better so of course you’re faster in the corners.” No, you just can’t ride your bike well enough! They need to stay behind you in the straights…

    • @zachsears6910
      @zachsears6910  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      To each their own. I’ve raced 1000s but 600s is what I love. More gear banging and high revs!!!

    I'm subbed now lol impressive ass riding but I gotta ask do you have gearing or not have a speeding healer or do you think 185 ish accurate (for on the dash) on the back straights?

    • @zachsears6910
      @zachsears6910  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes the bike was geared and no speedohealer. So gauge is definitely off. I run -1 +2 or 3 at RA. I like high revs to dig out of the turns. All 600/750 bikes love high rpms.

  • @rodb4523
    @rodb4523 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    What is your fork height? My k8 750 is at 520 and it just doesn’t feel like it wants to turn. I realize your bike is newer, I just see you have fork extension caps…

    What kind of mount were you using for the camera?

    • @zachsears6910
      @zachsears6910  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Go Pro was mounted on the tank cowl and saftey wired to the gas cap Incase it decided it didn’t wanna hang on

  • @tonytarr11

    What do you think about this bike vs the r6? I was very comfortable on my gsxr, but sounds like r6 is talked about most in the 600 class, I've never riden one. Trying to figure out which to get for track 🤔

    • @Ac22768
      @Ac22768 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It doesn’t matter. Especially if you aren’t anywhere near the top level. Just get whatever bike.

    • @zachsears6910
      @zachsears6910  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      R6 is a great bike I’ve raced them before. I hate the seat position on a r6. I’m more comfortable on a Gsxr. All preference. Zuk makes a hair more power if tuned correctly

      @@zachsears6910 Awesome videos, have you ridden a CBR 600? I heard they handle a bit better on the track, just wondered. I am trying to decide what to get for the track. I know the cbr is down on power, Im looking at the gsxr or cbr. Thanks buddy.
