It looked granulated because you didn't buff it into the nail enough. Once you put it on the nail you have to rub for several seconds. The more you rub the more reflective it becomes. I love the idea of doing it over clear!

+fighting irish in this video I used a gel base coat. Cured. Then wiped with alcohol. BUT it doesn't give you the best chrome mirror look. It's best to use a no wipe gel top coat then put the chrome powder over that...then no wipe gel top coat again.

Yes, the length and shape of her nails are perfect. It's my own opinion that nails that are extremely long or pointed or squared or chunky/thick are very unnatractive.

When trying out the mirror chrome pigments I noticed that there is a lot of buffing and smoothing involved in order to get that reflective effect. I bought the ones from the Born Pretty Store which was a bit cheaper and sparkly and now discovered there are other brands out there that offer more grams for a more fair price :/
I'm confused. If I want to add this on top of the acrylic or gel nails; Do I have to use LED gel polish first? Or, are you using an air dry Base Coat? Are you curing it, off camera? Did you apply a 2nd coat of chrome on top of the 1st coat, without doing anything but dusting off, in between coats?

I had mine done at a nail shop and they look terrible and to boot, i had her to paint my base as black. you can still see the black on the side bed... :( it just looks like silver polish. i am going to try this myself but buy the no wipe top coat (btw what is the best one to use without spending too much??). it also helps to know that you have to really buff it and she did not do that, so that could have made a difference. also does anyone have any experience with the top coat cracking?

You should either use a eye shadow applicator or silicon utensil to apply the pigment. never your finger because the oils would reduce the shine.
But I feel like with a finger it shines even more.
Always Use eyeshadow brush like the sponge
