The Jonathan Ross Show is a British chat show presented by Jonathan Ross. It was first broadcast on ITV on 3 September 2011 - in the late Saturday evening timeslot - following the conclusion of Ross' BBC One chat show, Friday Night with Jonathan Ross, in July 2010.
The show is filmed at The London Studios. In November 2011, it was announced that Ross had signed a new two-year contract to host another two series of 10 episodes each and a Christmas special.

That man is one beautiful man..... But he is also a telented actor and I really hope that he will get better soon and live a life were he feels good and will be happy.
Saw him in person on a flight from London to LA. I knew him immediately because his eyes were a very shimmery clear blue and he had a tan....STUNNING. He seemed very sweet. You tend to see a lot of celebrities on overseas flights. I remember his eyes.

I love this man not only as an actor but as a musician also. It is great to see he has gotten over the problems in his life and has learned from them and turned his life around. He should be so proud of himself. I can't wait to see the projects he has lined up for next year and I'm looking forward to there release.

I went to Ireland for Spring break/holiday and the people were so sweet and friendly the taxi drivers had conversions with us and told us about the country.

Ever since ''Tudors'' this dude has been 1 of my favorite actors of all time. It took Jesus for me to get off the alcohol, I don't know his believes & its none of my bizz, but I know he can get better too.

That's how I remember IRISH men to be and TO TALK. Full of energy (JRM might be on some additional "speed" here?) and very kind, very funny, full of words, big smiles. They are very special indeed. And JRM is surely one of the most gifted actors of today. I do hope he'll stay healty, happy and will be on screen for many more years to come.

I shit you not, I'm Australian and the more I listen to Irish people the more I realise how much of an influence they've had on Australian culture.
Irish and British have had the most influence definitely. Though 100-150 years ago we wouldn’t even be talking about U.K. and Ireland as separate countries they used to be part of the same Union of countries for hundreds of years until Ireland became a republic

My God you people who think he's on coke because he talks fast need to get a grip and become more cultured! We in Ireland generally do talk with quite a fast pace, I understood every word of what he said and he articulated it very well, wasn't distracted from what he was saying or by the manner in which he was saying it until Jonathan Ross brought it up.

EXACTLY. These are the judgemental folks who want to point fingers at anything. My brother inlaw talks twice as fast as this and he's a devout Christian man, certainly not an alcoholic.
I have watched this interview a hundred times. I love the fact he's Irish, he talks fast,he has nervous energy. What a lovely Soul. If they think that was fast they REALLY need to go to the Virgin Islands for a bit. The wonderful people of the Virgin Islands speak so fast it sounds like another language but it's english. Jonathan deserves respect for the amazing things he has accomplished in his life. WE all know he doesn't like interviewing, he actually seems rather shy about it. His life wasn't easy yet like the phoenix he rose from the ashes. Are we as humans so busy trying to find something wrong with a good person so we can knock them down that we fail to see the beautiful Soul that he actually is. Shame on everyone for their negative comments. If you believe him to be so bad, why even bother? God Bless the Irish, they are all lovely people. Yes, I am biased my great-grandmother came here from Ireland, but I HAVE NEVER met an unfriendly one...

I'm Welsh and if me and johnathan got talking he wouldn't have a word in, let alone the last word lol. We would get along because we both talk and FAST. He is a terrific actor, I did notice not once did he look directly at JR when he was talking?? Why is he hiding? I hope he has sorted himself out now, best of luck to him. he's one of the most beautiful men ive ever seen and matches his looks w/ wit and brains but he seems like he's on some stimulants here.

Ok, everybody get off this "drug" thing! Jonathan is a brilliant actor and person.....he thinks fast 'cos he's smart! Irish people speak very fast with their beautiful accents.....Jonny is brilliant, smart, a genius of an actor and he talks fast. Leave him alone, he's trying to be a better person, and he's wonderful!
I think Jon is just a bit nervous at the beginning. He does start to slow down and seem more comfortable after a minute. People are SO critical of him - no wonder he had a drinking problem! I think the man is getting himself together and we need to let him, instead of judging.
He is not my fave actor but I think he deserves to play the next James Bond! He would fit in sooooo good!!!!! He has the charm,accent,the look!

Watching him in the tudors incredible actor didn’t know he is from Ireland 🇮🇪 so cool to hear his accent and he has such a wonderful personality irl He is now one of my favorite actors. I also loved him in Match point. Now I want to see more if his works ❤

Irish people tend to speak fast there is nothing out of the ordianry there. And his ear touching thing ... well maybe he's nervous. Everyone has a nervous twitch some more noticeable than others. But please don't say he's on drugs during this interview it's really sad
I agree. Just because he had a troubled past doesn't mean he has a troubled present. I've seen him in other interviews and he also appears to be a quite neurotic/ nervous person. Don't judge people :) (BTW looking gorgeous as always)

heartsXkisses24 He IS VERY NERVOUS wow..... This is my first interview with Johnatan that I watch and his manner of speech scares me a bit: fast pace, no emotions, no intonation - that all seems quite unnatural (to me). He's a very good actor though.

I love JRM fantastic actor. Him, Robert Sheehan, Ruth Negga, Aidan Gillen, Saoirse Ronan and Brendan Gleeson give me inspiration to continue with acting and make me damn proud to be Irish. Brilliant man!
I've seen a lot of comments about him being on coke during this interview but honestly, and I'm not tying to condescend or patronise anybody, I go to Ireland at least once a year for a period of time and you should hear them talk, it really is a fast paced nevertakeabreath kind of thing, so I wouldn't jump to the conclusion that he's on coke, it could very well just be the way he is.

I enjoy all his interviews more than his better than bloody good movie scenes. Overall, he’s an excellent conversationalist who conceptualizes to a high degree and beautifully expresses his thoughts with metaphors. He seems to be very well grounded through early education and life experiences. His soul appears to be one of sincere meaning, evidenced by the exceptional talent and deep passion conveyed in every role. His ability to carry huge roles at a young age is unmatched.

He does seem a little chatty, and I have heard about his drug use and suicide attempt. To me, he just seems nervous. I really hope that he is getting his life together. It would be a shame for his life, and talent, to go down the toilet.
I think he's just nervous here especially talking about his past. The whole tone changes when he talks about his work, excitement is there. I'm 1/2 Irish, visited Ireland and a lot of Irish people talk fast, no big deal. Also, I love his natural accent, we don't get to hear it often enough.

Jonathan Rhys Meyers "Doppleganger" (look alike) lives across the street from me here in the U.S.. He is also 5'9". The resemblance is strikingly identical. The only difference? he's 20 yrs younger and just a tad heavier looking in the face. He even has the same personality characteristics/habits as if twin brothers, just born at different times. I shit you not!

The man has been in and out of rehab, struggling with alcoholism. A failed attempt of a suicide, on a over dose of pills. so you say that because he's Irish it's normal? don't blame it on his heritage. show some respect.

He wasn't trying to kill himself. He was going through a lot and he over did it. And he admitted that he went overboard.

God bless him and that is so sad and heartbreaking to hear because he is such a wonderful actor.. I pray that he is able to get clean forever and if he so chooses to continue acting, to do it. Alcohol, and illegal drugs, & suicide are just the worst things. my brother died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound after drinking way too much and for too long. He was suffering from depression as well and it's devastating for family!

He is either very nervous or high as a kite. A troubled soul, according to recent reports. A fine actor nonetheless, and I particularly admired his performance in Woody Allen's Match Point. Jonathan Ross assembled quite a guest list here, including Steve Coogan and the stars of Downton Abbey.

extremely nervous, probably on the verge of a panic attack. The fast talking is to keep your mind off the fear of being interviewed and having to make an impression in front of the people watching you. Take my word for it, it takes one to know one. I know exactly what he's going through.
He doesn't do do interviews well. And this one of his newer interviews after having a breakdown. But he normally talks fast.

I love JRM, I've always thought that he's a good actor and definitely easy on the eye. I recently watched 'Belle du Seigneur' and found that as with most adaptations the story fell rather flat. However JRM's acting and intensity managed to anchor it somewhat.
