I read so many books, and honestly watched alot of helpful youtube video tutorials! MIT OCW is also a great tutorial -- lots of online classes and materials are free for everyone online!

When you’re provided with all this opportunity by your parents, and most likely the culture in your household that is what makes your success so much easier. Congratulations tho, because despite people also having all of that it’s hard to get into an ivy league school like MIT

Saying the word “easier” makes it seem as though you’re negating her accomplishments. Of course, she has the privilege to do what she wants (and make the really cool stuff that she built) but her accomplishments aren’t a result of her privilege, but a result of her hard work. Being rich or having a supportive family doesn’t mean that you’ll have the passion to work on your own projects on your own time and build things out of interest. Also, you don’t know anything about her household culture and how it could have affected her, and I don’t either, so it doesn’t really make sense to draw conclusions based on that. I’m sure that a good amount of applicants come from similar socioeconomic level as her but lack the amount of passion and drive she seems to have.
