    Alaris is a superior pump. That pump should be standard in all hospitals

    ER Tech here (medic student too), thank you for going in depth as much as you could with this. My unit uses these and they don’t train techs on this, but I wanted to learn more in case I have to transfer a patient and their blood transfusion or dopamine gets interrupted, at least I’ll have the knowledge on how to fix the issue instead of shit hitting the fan and me giving the answer “I didn’t know what to do”

      Hi Matthew! No special tubing is needed just needs to be a secondary set.

    Hello! I am trying to quickly find a resource on ramping up/ramping down TPN. Is there a section on how to pre-program a ramp up/ramp down? If so, what section of the video is it in?

    Does it matter if you use a 10gtt or 60gtt tubing?

    When this pump is paused, does it flash pause? What does the pump's data look like when paused? How do you shut it off? Can it infuse by accident when shut off?

    • @MedOneGroup
      @MedOneGroup  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello, and thank you for your question. When the pump is paused, it will show the screen with the words "pump stopped." If it goes 2 minutes with no activity, it then alarms. When a pump is turned off, it doesn't cause free flow. If you need any further questions answered, reach out to our iv pump professionals at equipment@medonegroup.com.
