Major ‘55 Progress -Getting to the fun part!

- Thank you Bob, Melling, and Bill for all the work you guys have done to get our 6.0 LS running and sounding great!
The 55 is also back on the frame. We painted the underside in basecoat/clearcoat, and the full body in CRE-921 epoxy.

I've been a restorer for 20 years. You folks do excellent work. When you showed the 55, all sealed up, it brought a tear to my eye. It hit me right away, Bills dad is gonna be so happy. When you know the connection people have with cars, you know this is gonna get him in the feels. I was imagining ol pops seeing the bottom so nice, and it got me. Great job, great video. I even dig your music lol. Keep being awesome!

Coming from an Old Man (pun intended) that's been tinkering with cars since the mid 70's when I was 7 years old & took Auto Body & Repair at a Trade school while in High School.... You're crew puts out some of the finest quality work I've seen in my life. Mark Worman, Dave Kindig & Ol' Richard Rawlings ain't got shit on y'all. That '55 is looking sweet!

I'm 61 and have been building cars since I got my driver's license at 16. Over the course of my life, I've become proficient at doing everything involved with building a car with two exceptions: automatic transmissions (other than a Powerglide, which I can do) and paint and body work. Watching you guys work through all these different facets of the panel replacement, panel repair, sealing, body work, paint prep and paint, I'm reminded why I've always left this part of a build up to the pros. I simply don't have the patience required, and it definitely looks like there is no substitute for experience, so there's no way I'll ever get to where I'd be satisfied with the job I'd produce when I'd likely only do one paint job every several years. I'll stick with the fabrication, mechanical stuff and the chassis setup and tuning, and engine building and tuning side of things. You all do spectacular work, and I love that you are sharing what you do via these TH-cam videos. I can't express the high level of respect I have for the work ethic and the care for doing it right that you all have. We need more of this in our world.
Ain't gonna lie. This 60 yo retired farmer had a big ole lump in my throat and some clear stuff coming from my eyes watching this and thinking about Bills dad. Just hope you get it done in time for him to enjoy it. I didn't think he looked very good a couple weeks back in a video that I watched.
