@@3poundCrappiefishing ok thanks I just got livescop and haven't installed yet. Researching as much as possible to decide to put on TM or separate pole
Dave I use it every now and then. Especially when I have more than 2 on my boat. I'll locate a school sitting on structure. Throw out a buoy then back off the pile and cast to it. my transducer is on a seperate pole and not on my trolling motor.
Just got My garmin force going to lake Martin al this saturday going to stay a week can't wait to catch some slabs with my livescope!! Thx for the video
Another great video Matt. I have to tell you, that it's because of you, that I own the LIVESCOPE. That AND the fact that you've shared SO much information on how to use it, I've been able to be so much more successful catching crappie. The lake I fish has always been a challenge to be successful on and I used to dread fishing it because it will skunk a person a LOT. Not anymore though!! So, thank you, thank you, THANK YOU for what you've done with this channel. Hope to see you in Branson next week.
I certainly don't want to sound like an internet professional but it's been my experience that they'll be at least 2 colors that they'll hit. When a school starts missing the jig its on purpose, if I continue with that jig I'll shut em down. Change to the secondary color until they start missing it then go back to the #1 color. They should be hitting it very good again. That's been my experience anyway, it might be worth a try?
I have a 126 with livescope. I'm having trouble with livescope fading in and out. You will be looking at a pile and the screen turns dark. Have you experienced this? Garmin keeps telling me I have a amperage problem. You can look toward shallow water and it will clear up.
Hard returns is what I call it. I don't know. a solution for it. I can say that it has done it less when I corrected my battery issues. Now my 8612 runs between 12.4-11.5 volts after a full day of scoping.
I am a fisherman and I wonder what it is about going out and catching these fish , only to throw them back. Why tear up their mouths and traumatize these fish for nothing ? If you are going to catch them, then eat the damn things. Catch and release is ok when you can't help catching fish too small to eat. Catching fish just to catch them is just ridiculous.
No spot lock?
we don't use spot lock to fish

Great to hear! Look forward too meeting you. Hit me up early.......sometimes I disappear and am gone like a ghost. aka. "miss my family"
Have you switched the transducer to the trolling motor? What happened to the live sweep system?

The 8610 and 126/122sv are basically the same price. Which would perform better as a dedicated livescope unit?
8612 - Because of the streamlined look, slightly better pic, and NO cradle

It is a sport you know. You don’t have to eat the fish just cause you caught them.
Great vi
Really cool to see them bust up when you catch a few.
