Lalo, Ocho, and Fortaleza are my top 3 tequilas. Lalo is fantastic for first time tequila drinkers, and a great way to show people what tequila should be, while still being delicious to the connoisseur. So many Americans have no idea what real, additive-free tequila is.
LALO is such a great story of heritage and love. It’s Founders really took their time to make a quality product that can be extended to the World and unite us all as family and friends!
Had it for the first time this weekend to celebrate a birthday party and it lived up to the hype! What a traditional blanco tequila should taste like. I will have this in stock instead of other “big name brands” now.
Great story/family pedigree, packaging and price is very reasonable. It’s a pleasant light bright nose from sweet to vegetal. On the palette- raw and cooked agave, fresh cut grass, some citrus, and the finish has a slight astringent bitterness though it goes away relatively quick. The mouthfeel is where it shines most for me with a buttery/creamy texture which pleasant. Not a lot of complexity going on here but a smooth sipper that will appeal to a wide demographic. Gave it an 85 on TMM.
Lalo is some really good stuff. I can’t drink too much of it though since it gives me hangovers. Don’t know why. Same amount of Tequila Ocho, Olmeca Altos, G4 etc, does not give me hangovers. For whatever reason Lalo does.
To celebrate National Margarita Day, check out the perfect spicy margarita recipe over on the Huckberry Journal: bit.ly/3uGXpn3

Completely agree. Everyone drinks disgusting celebrity tequilas and have never tried an actual good tequila
I wish I could find fortaleza. It's legit sold out everywhere
Incredible blanco.

I was recently gifted this tequila and I was waiting for a special event, but now I'm gonna have a caballito after work.
Do it! 😁

I’ll take a bottle and that black sweater jacket/cardigan that Davis is wearing.
It's the best.
