At an average speed of 30 km/h, they do 278 km with a consumption of 6 l/100 km, then show 5 km of highway use. During this time the average increases steadily, so well over 6 litres. As long as there are such ridiculous tests, people are right to be suspicious.
I can see 1st gear start at 40 km/h, 2nd gears starts at 60km/h and 3st gear starts at 80km/h going 2.500 rpm at 105 km/h and 3.000 rpm at 125 km/h, well not bad, looks like 100cv car performance. Apparently if you practice efficient driving, the electric motor maintains 100% between 0-70km/h and the combustion engine would enter the acceleration case
I'll do my best on the next test, when I have on a longer period ZS... to record and show the numbers. But I was very surprised by the car, and the whole MG hybrid system... good job once again for China team
There is so much to learn on this car, I’m taking delivery on Thursday and trying to find out how everything works, for instance, whilst it’s google to have visual speed limit information, I think the chimes would do my head in, do you know if you can silence them?
@@carinik The test was unnecessary at these numbers. At an average speed of 30 km/h, the hybrid achieves an average fuel consumption of 6 litres, which increases steadily during normal use. Is this professional work from the Chinese?
After refueling, it said you have 457km of range, with 292km travelled. At the end of the video, it said you have 431km range (-26km) with 312km travelled (+20km). If it is 40 liters for 457km, that is an average of 8.7l / 100km, so not very good really.

Looks like it’s reving a bit high at 100klmh , maybe need another gear

I really appreciate your ROAD test drive. Too short time at 130 Km/h: it's impossibile to get numbers.....
