Crying! I’m so so happy for y’all. We did a cross country move two weeks ago because we were finding that we were slowly losing focus on the important things, our Lord, and our family. Let me tell you the way God worked in our lives. First, two days after we talked and prayed about moving back home closer to family a job opened up for my husband exactly where he wanted to be. Then our house sold in a weekend. His new employers were so wonderful that they gave a wholehearted yes to him keeping a two week vacation we planned to travel to a few national parks in Utah and California. From there we continued driving across the country to Connecticut with our three kids and our dog with minimal issues. Now we’re staying rent free with family until we find our home. We are so abundantly blessed. Reorienting our lives to God first family second is obviously what we were lacking. I will be praying for your family as well, and asking God to continue to help us grow in our faith. I’m excited to see where He leads us ❤

I’m honestly so grateful for this channel. I am a single 24 year old woman with no kids but from a broken family and childhood and I came for cute baby moments but this channel has helped me grow so much as an adult and not just this channel but seeing like a healthy family and I’m not saying anyone’s perfect but I reflect on some of the moments I’ve seen from yall for like months sometimes processing that there’s ways to handle certain situations I had no idea about because I’ve literally never seen it done… family moments are intimate and I’ve only ever seen my own and across the board extended included, nobody is on this level of structure and communication. Also seeing an active father and being able to hear insight from a father figure like that. I would’ve been content to stay alone forever bc I don’t trust people and I knew I also have toxic tendencies idk how to deal with. If i hadn’t found this channel I wouldn’t believe it was even possible… to make a family and be happy or that I could change to work towards that? I really appreciate yall sharing your family with us because really, truly has impacted my life so much for the better. Thank you so much. 💛

The best thing is, you have family (and they're all wonderful in their individual unique ways). Living on a farm is great. I'm glad I was able to go to my grandparents farm each summer for about 2 weeks as a young kid growing up. It was an experience that some people never experience in a lifetime. It really builds character when you're from the city. I think the children will really love it.

In today's world, where the devil distracts us with luxury and the internet, our highest aim should be to stay connected with God. Years ago, my wonderful wife and I made a similar choice; we left the city in Ghana, acquired two acres of land, and immersed ourselves in nature to escape the noise and reconnect with our true selves. I can’t envision any of the Henry’s living actual farm life. So when you say farm, do you mean a farmhouse style home on a big, isolated piece of land? Maybe with a few chickens and a vegetable patch? Because I CAN imagine you getting into that over time. The thing is, at the end, you showed film of you guys with other folks who appeared be quite at home there. Maybe you were visiting your new neighbors. If not, that video really reminded me of people living in what these days is called an intentional community. In the old days, it would have been called a commune.

What you set out to do may have looked different up to this point, but the ministry still did its thing because YOU WERE/ARE A GOOD STEWARD. With this move to the farm and refocusing I can't wait to see what the next chapter holds. Just think - our parents may have wanted us to take over the family business, or live better than us, or live another version/second chance future for themselves, but whatever their dreams they definitely wanted a better life for us. I'm excited for you and Yvette's family foundations (ideologies) that you brought with you into your marriage. All of it because you both were willing to figure it out both individually and together. And you keep doing it with every child, and even with the people you invite into your village. Two of my friends made the decision to quit their jobs pre-pani to live abroad for at least a year in order to give their young children a taste of the world beyond the block. Congratulations Family! Wow! You know our ministries grow and evolve. What you set out to do may have looked different up to this point, but the ministry still did its thing because YOU WERE/ARE A GOOD STEWARD. With this move to the farm and refocusing I can't wait to see what the next chapter holds. Just think - our parents may have wanted us to take over the family business, or live better than us, or live another version/second chance future for themselves, but whatever their dreams they definitely wanted a better life for us. I'm excited for you and Yvette's family foundations (ideologies) that you brought with you into your marriage. All of it because you both were willing to figure it out both individually and together. And you keep doing it with every child, and even with the people you invite into your village. Two of my friends made the decision to quit their jobs pre-pani to live abroad for at least a year in order to give their young children a taste of the world beyond the block. I hope the boys can still play hockey! I grew up outside of Pittsburgh in the early 2000’s. Street hockey was huge there but when my family moved to Ohio no one played it☹️
