But do you recall the most food-motivated of all?
Dorothy the spotted doggy, was an only child for years
Then came the baby Dezi, pulling on her tail and ears,
All of the other doggies who didn’t have a kid sibling
Played in the park each evening while DD waited by the swings
Then one hungry wistful eve while Dorothy’s tummy growled.
A twinkle gleamed in Dezi’s eye as he threw down a third french fry.
Now Dorothy goes by Dodo, packin’ on some extra pounds
She’s seen her family grow grow.
