Nice project. I picked up a 66 Mustang almost a year ago and I’ve been going through the same process. I haven’t done the dash pad yet. Mine is ok but after 59 years, it’s showing its age and eventually it’s going to have to be replaced. I have to do the front/rear window seals as well so to make it easier, I’ll do the pad when the windshield is out.
@@kunertdiy Thanks for the video. I just took mine all apart and going for install tomorrow. Just to point out that above the instrument cluster and above the glove box there is a small trim piece that goes where you put the screws.

Thank you! That’s definitely the way to tackle it , with the windshield out. It would have been much easier.
