  • My last compilation also ran from 1973 to 2023, but this is another video from the same years. As always, these new compilations consist of newly found clips.

    Wow... I wasn't born in the 70s but I live in West Virginia, I haven't seen the WSAZ 3 sign off until now... Can we get a WSAZ logo history next, I wanna see if you can find the jingles for WSAZ News Channel 3 from the late 2000s because I remember them when Me and my parents go to sleep.

    The KRBC Abilene and KACB San Angelo (now KSAN) sign-off following their station ID and Weather Radar on screen at 41:44, does not have music due to a copyright claim from Universal Music Group, as "Jessica's Theme (Breaking In The Colt)" by Bruce Roland in "The Man From Snowy River" was not heard and was edited out of their KRBC and KACB sign-off. And the KRIS 6 Corpus Christi, Texas sign-off to conclude its broadcast day at 54:12, also does not have music due to a copyright claim.

    You forgot to add the WTHR sign off from june 1989, and the WGAL sign off from 1987 on the compliation. If you can add those two sign offs, it would be really amazing.

    Are channels ordered to say things like "This channel is licensed by FCC" or "Our stations are broadcasted over an sprint antenna" like what is the point of saying all of that, why do all these channels sign off listing all of their wifi status and components. JUST SAY GOOD BROADCAST DAY THEN AIR PAID PROGRAMING FOR POWERWAVE XL

      Because it was the norm back in those days, and I think they were required to. Too me it adds to the charm.

    • @waggboi
      @waggboi 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Yeah I looked it up they are required to because that is one of the FCC rules for broadcasting
