    I had two of these engines and they were my favourites. If you get yourself a piece of 16mm (5/8) wooden dowelling and cut it off square on the end you will find it much easier to prime the fuel pump with. It doesn't keep slipping off.

    Important to lube rod bearing from end of crankshaft!

    Can someone help me out I have a 1925 McCormick deering model m and it ran great the day I got it and that day my friend used starting fluid on it without me knowing and I’m having trouble starting it it has spark compression and I see fuel vapors coming out the exhaust it it won’t run

      im not really sure without being there in person but try a different spark plug might foul under compression

    Throttle governed engines are nice, but there's something about the Hit&miss!

    great sounding engine! and a tip: tape a little piece of foam over your microphone to cut that wind noise.

    I like the fact that the RPM's are more constant. What is the largest engine you have?

      Hi got one of these,ran fine once I remagnatised the mag.that was till the fuel tank rusted out...damn complicated to get all the pipes in n the right place again.
