We got ambushed by a HIPPO on our Dream AFRICAN SAFARI

After we almost got knocked out by gorillas in Uganda, we had another traumatizing experience in Rwanda when a "friendly" hippo snuck up on us while we were filming in Akagera National Park, Rwanda.
After the terrible genocide in 1994, much of Rwanda’s wildlife was decimated. Fast forward 30 years, and Rwanda has been able to bring many species back from the brink of extinction. Today, the balance between man and nature is being restored in the region.
Come with us as we try the game drive and riverboat cruise in Akagera National Park outside Kigali, Rwanda. We see lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, hippos, crocodiles, gazelles, buffalo and more.
