Hi. First i thought its just a color overlay / depth mat but it does accentuate silhouettes of building behind it.. can you shed some light on how this effect works =) ? Thanks
I am sadly not too sure, but it's possibly a characteristic of the deferred render method unreal uses. Translucency/transparency is something that unduly taxes this engine (using more polies to avoid need for masked textures e.g. in foliage) usually works out faster, certainly relative to other engines, but I digress.
For a first iteration, i must say: that looks lit!
