Incredible live set from Lightwave! Adorable space journey...this duo is fantastic! I heard nothing bad until this day...every cassette is unique BS Ambient stuff of the finest. Didn't know this existed though! Now I'm baffled...it sounds like a studio album! What a good recording!😊😂🎉❤
Just a little reminder. I'm sorry to have to say it again. But it was I who created Lightwave in 1985. Anecdotal, perhaps, but at least not in my opinion. I met a certain Mr. Christian Jacob, who from now on calls himself "Christian Wittman", when I was founding the Crystal Lake association in May 1984. At the time, he didn't play any musical instrument whatsoever! And it was I who pushed him to get more involved in electronic music, notably by motivating him to buy his very first synthesizers. So no, and definitely no, Mr Christian Jacob and Mr Christoph Harbonnier did not co-found Lightwave, Mr Christoph Harbonnier having only joined the group in 1986, after I had personally met him, as he was a member of the Crystal Lake association for the promotion of electronic and alternative music, which I had founded in 1984, and of which Mr Christian Jacob was also a member! As for the more specific case of Mr. Paul Haslinger, he was only able to meet us because I had organized two concerts at the Olympia with Tangerine Dream in March 1986 (120,000 francs in losses, and bailiffs at my door for years). The fact that he joined the band much later, or in 1991, has absolutely nothing to do with my departure, or with a so-called impromptu replacement in - or around - 1988 (I humbly remind you that Mr. Bruno Heuzé arrived in the meantime!), following a disastrous concert in Vernouillet in 1988, it also being specified that Mr. Laurent Bozec took part in our first concert in October 1985 in Châtenay-Malabry, without being considered as a party to it. By way of comparison: Chris Franke and Peter Baumann are not co-founders of Tangerine Dream, but merely the fifth band. And as such, it is Mr. Edgar Froese who is the real founder of the band. Likewise, Hans Joachim Roedelius and Dieter Moebius (who didn't play an instrument either!) are not co-founders of Kluster. Consequently, or to this day, only Mr. Conrad Schnitzler is considered to be the group's founder. He, like Edgar Froese, fetched all the others. I did the same! Thank you for pointing that out! Serge Leroy.
